"Within minutes, a generously-sized plate of biscuits and gravy was placed in front of me, accompanied by a side of home fries with onions. The first bite instantly transported me back to my grandmother's house, where she used to make the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. I was not disappointed by Shorty's version! The biscuits were fluffy, and the gravy had just the right amount of spice to elevate the dish. The overall atmosphere at Shorty's was wonderful. The diner was very clean, and every waitress appeared dedicated to providing excellent service to their customers. A big shoutout to Shorty's and its team for a job well done! I will definitely be returning. The only thing that could have improved my experience would be if this diner were located in Gloucester, which I hope will be a reality someday. Thank you for such a great experience and an amazing meal!"

Food was great, server was great. Got very annoyed waiting 20-25 mins with a group of 4 an than a group of 5 walk in and are immediately sat with, I was given a poor excuse as to why but soon as I mention it she seats us. Other than that it is a very nice restaurant

Wow i am really speechless about this place. I ordered from door dash and they made my dasher wait an additional 30 minutes just for a sandwich. Once i start eating the sandwich, i taste nothing. The food was so dry and flavorless i really couldn’t believe it. How does an egg or bacon have no taste? The biscuit was dry and disgusting. The French toast was horrendous. Maybe they were having a bad day idk. But the food tasted like it was months old. What a waste of money.
