"It's my third year living in PGH; being a transplant from NJ, it took me a while to locate a pizza place since I'm picky like my crust, sauce, cheese, etc a certain way. When visiting NJ, I literally would bring back multiple pizzas to freeze in PGH since I couldn't find any local places that made true NY style. I joined a Facebook group for Pittsburgh pizza lovers someone suggested this place. It's solid, and satisfies my pizza cravings! My favorite pizza places in Pittsburgh that I have tried are Badamo's Fiori's. While it's not that level, it's still solid for NY style pizza. One thing that I don't understand is why this place is closed on Sundays-the only day of the week that I want pizza, to accompany watching football since I don't want to get up off my sofa to cook. I don't recommend getting slices at the actual store but ordering a fresh pie. The calzones here are not good- I have tried them 2x so I feel comfortable saying that. the dough is inconsistently cooked they are soggy and watery. Ginormous is huge, so if you have a family of 4, it's perfect. If you have two adults, a large size is fine-you will have plenty of leftovers."

This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy a delicious slice of pizza. It's the closest I've found to NYC style pizza in Pittsburgh.

The food was delicious. It seemed like they were busy when we visited because our order took longer than expected. The staff could have communicated better with us. Despite the delays, the food was worth the wait and we enjoyed it overall. View menu

This is my 2nd time at Slice, and it may be my nee diet cheat day go-to!The NY style pizza is literally NY worthy! it reminds me of my favorite pizza spot in Watkins Glen NY.Greasy, thin but delightfully crunchy. 1 slice in-house is the size of 2 normal slices anywhere else.Tried the cannoli cake this time and holy hell. game-changer. Literally insanely delicious. The gentleman that helped me was incredibly personable.I just wish they heated the marinara since i dined in....Thanks!! ?

Go For the Pizza, it 's the star attraction, but close the stage curtain on the veggie hoagie and Chicken on the Parm calzones! Pizza We ? LOVE the behemoth size, and we would do a repeat performance on this, without a doubt! On a differentorder, we got a veggie hoagie and 2 calzones and they are what Broadway would term a 'Tragedy '. The veggie hoagie was notstacked, and kind of bland even with the balsamic house dressing, definitely not generous on the veggies! After all there isnot much excitement when it comes to a veggie hoagie, but you definitely could stack it instead of this. (see photo) While theChicken on the Parm calzones, offered a nice crust, the interior contents actually were...

"My husband and I went to eat here last week for the first time. We googled it randomly and found it close to where we were and the reviews were decent enough. I ordered their steak salad and my husband the rueben. The steak salad was missing the steak, and in fact, was replaced by roast beef or pastrami or some other type of cold cut. It was atrocious. There was no flavour whatsoever and they omitted the most important part of it, and tried passing off their pastrami as steak. We were already at a different location when we opened up our food and noticed this strange meat on my salad.Anyway. I don 't know if they were out if steak and substituted for pastrami, but it was disgusting. And I paid full price as if it were steak. My husband 's sandwich was inedible as they smothered it with their house sauce and he ended up having to throw it out because it was impossible to taste anything but the sauce.I won 't be going here again. Thank you for the unfortunate experience, I 'm glad we got to see it the first time so we don 't waste our hard-earned money here again.Edit: owner responded to this saying thanks for the info, we will correct it moving forward , so no apology for throwing a cold cut into my salad and trying to pass it off as the menu item ordered?! Wow! So, clearly owner was aware of situation and does not care. Good to know."

"It was a brisk, blustery day, and my friend and I were looking to get warmed up via some good eats while headed out on our lunch break. I searched, and searched, while having a hankering for some lightly salted broth to soothe my slightly irritated throat, and happened to stumble upon Lin's Oriental Express in Wexford. 30 minutes later, we are both, so very glad we did! Having had lunch earlier, we wanted something hot yet light, and decided on one Vegetarian Egg Roll and one pint of Won Ton Soup a piece. Service was quick, friendly, and the food was reasonably priced! The bag was nicely warm, and heavy! We headed back in, and sampled the Won Ton Soup first. Three tightly wrapped Won Tons floated amidst a nicely dark broth. The soup was hot, our appetites were ignited, and the lightly salted, savory broth hit the spot oh so perfectly! Genuinely a richly flavored, perfect blend of combined flavors sunk into my mouth as I drank down the end of the broth. Now onto the very weighty, oh so hefty egg roll! One bite in, and even twenty five minutes later after having picked it up, the egg roll reached a level of pleasure spots that were absolutely a pitch perfect combination of fried dough, minced veggies, and warm grease that soothed my stomach's empty woes in such a way I honestly was taken aback by! I don't often write reviews, and I'm not a person that says that, but still often writes reviews. I...don't...often...write...reviews! Having finished the delightful nosh, I knew I had to write one, as clearly this was the finest Egg Roll and Won Ton Soup combo I've had in years, and frankly maybe well beyond that! Lin, you are a gem of a throwback restaurant, and your delicious efforts need to be known of, and regaled about in ways that taunt reader's stomach's of said review, to head out and see for.... themselves...if such praise is truly warranted. Don't be sorry, at least to your stomach, and not take upon this tasty challenge. You'll undoubtedly be glad you did...! :"
