"We had been eating at Sor Tino for more than eight years. However, last night was our first time back at Sor Tino since the Covid crisis began in March, The owner has made changes to adjust to Covid: the outdoor area is more open and bright. Safe distance between the tables has been implemented. I was very glad to hear that management was able to keep their kitchen crew employed throughout the Covid shutdown. The food, as always, is excellent. Prices have gone up, but it is understandable after considering how the entire restaurant industry has been hurt by the Covid crisis."

First courses of polipe e patate, brussel sprouts, fried stuffed zucchini blossoms shared by a group of four all excellent. Followed by four different pasta dishes:lamb ragu, artichoke, sardine, and shrimp with asparagus. All were perfectly cooked, light, tastes of ingredients came shining through. Allergy problems willingly addressed by the chef. Waiter attentive but not intrusive, obviously knew the menu very well and could advise as needed.

As always, Sor Tino is a standout experience comfortably nestled in a neighborhood place with a very comfy vibe. Service is always attentive and charming and correct. Pizza is great, pastas always pleasing. Had the pork chop and it was something of a revelation. Great wines under and plenty of more expensive wines if you'd want. I feel lucky to live so close to such a large segment of LA's Italian restaurants. Sor Tino delivers the best value and most unpretentious (but still joyful) experience among them all.
