Staghead - Menu

I absolutely loved the outdoor patio, and our server Patrick was fantastic! The food and drinks were incredibly delicious, and we can't wait to return! The garlic aioli on the house burger was outstanding.

Had a train stopover today in Red Wing and a fantastic meal at Staghead. Our seafood dishes were fresh and original. Really nothing on the menu was same old, and all accompanied by a good drink, wine, and craft beer selection.

We drive through Red Wing a couple times a year. I would definitely stop here again. Great gluten free choices! Burgers and salads are great. Their main menu choices also look good. They make everything from scratch and to each order. View menu

Small and unassuming, Staghead is one of the best restaurants we have enjoyed in years. The espresso martini is the best I have ever tried. The brussel sprout “salad” with poached egg and salmon was better than any meal I could have imagined orderingin Red Wing. The multiple flavors made the dish complex and delicious. We are Definitley planning to return soon and will makea reservation this time!

Staghead may be cozy and humble, but it truly shines as one of the best dining experiences we've enjoyed in years. The espresso martini is, without a doubt, the finest I've ever had. After our golf outing in Lake City, we decided to stop at this restaurant, and I was delighted to discover a menu with healthier options. I ordered the seared salmon, which was cooked wonderfully, though I felt the coconut curry sauce could have used a touch more flavor. My husband opted for the trout entrée and enjoyed the delicious corned beef hash that came with it. However, a word of caution—the trout contained quite a few bones, so be mindful while eating. The beet salad was enjoyable, but I found the clam chowder to be a bit lacking. Overall, the service was exceptional.

The Staghead is a cozy bar-restaurant with a laid back and friendly atmosphere. It’s a great place to meet with friends to conversate while eating very good food. Our server was attentive, congenial, and knowledgeable about the food and drink menu. Overall, service was excellent. We had the Staghead Burger with roasted wedge potatoes and salmon clam chowder with a baguette. The burger was prepared medium as requested, was juicy and flavorful. Chowder was light, flavorful and delicious. Both disheswere perfect for a cold day! We will for sure eat here next time we’re in Red Wing. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which greatly enhanced our overall dining experience. We tried the Staghead Burger accompanied by roasted wedge potatoes, as well as the salmon clam chowder served with a baguette. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium—juicy and full of flavor—while the chowder was light, delicious, and thoroughly satisfying. Both dishes made for a lovely meal on a chilly day!
