"My husband and I ate dinner there last night, July 18. I have a few comments that may resonate with reality vs perception. First up the breadbasket was “toasted white bread” with flavored butter and cheese. Not the greatest but edible. Second, the salad that comes with your $38.00 entree is nothing to write home about. The lettuce was chopped up like coleslaw and had very little in it (no tomatoes, onions, etc) with flavorless dressing. Next up, veal Marsala was not tender (could not even cut it with a knife), smothered in a thick too heavy gravy brown sauce although the mushrooms were tasty. Lastly, two watered down cocktails were $26.00 which was absurd. Lastly, when I got the bill, I had additional “extra charges” on the bill that were not even my charges! The overall experience was poor to a failing grade for A LOT OF MONEY! With tip, the bill was $168.00 for two people! Quite absurd! Will not be going back there anytime soon no mater what “perception” other folks have of the place!"

"--- I wanted to take a moment to share my wonderful experience at Zaytoona Lebanese Cuisine. During my recent visit, I ordered the kefta kebab, but there was a small mix-up with my order. When I went back to clarify, the owner was incredibly gracious and explained that I had received a different dish, though he couldn't recall the exact name. It turned out to be a beef kebab sandwich, which he kindly offered to me along with hummus—completely on the house. I was truly impressed not only by the owner's kindness and understanding, but also by the food itself. The flavors were among the best I’ve experienced in Mediterranean cuisine. I really appreciate how the owner handled the mix-up and the complimentary additions to my meal. I highly recommend Zaytoona Lebanese Cuisine to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience. Your commitment to customer satisfaction and the exceptional quality of your dishes make this a must-visit restaurant. Thank you once again for such a memorable meal. I can't wait to come back soon!"

"This is a true neighborhood diner, serving breakfast and lunch. We had the Breakfast special #1 with grits and the Western omelet with crispy hash browns. Everything was wonderful. My hot tea came with an extra small teapot of hot water, much appreciated. Coffee was great with frequent refills. The best part was watching almost every other customer walking in say, Hey, Joe! and getting a first name greeting in return."
