"If you're traveling through Coastal Southern Georgia, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Tucked away from the usual tourist spots in Kingsland, this establishment has been a staple since the 1940s. We stayed a few miles away and prefer to dine at local places instead of chain restaurants during our trip, and we were not disappointed! My husband enjoys certain Southern dishes that I don’t, and vice versa. He ordered fried gizzards while I opted for fried green tomatoes. They also offer beautiful salads that are available all day, even for breakfast. Each table comes equipped with REAL BUTTER and half-and-half. We couldn’t resist trying the desserts, all of which are homemade, and ended up taking a large slice of strawberry cake back to our accommodations to share. It was absolutely delicious!"

Wintering in Ga and we found this gem online. It serves wonderfully delicious southern meals. Have had breakfast there 2x and plan to try other meals too. It's clean, service fast and polite. Big servings. We have enjoyed eating our meals there.

My husband and I decided to stop for lunch after reading all the glowing reviews. The place did not disappoint! We had the blackened chicken tenders, greens, green beans and pickled beets. This place was packed and we had to wait about 10 minutes to get a booth but it was worth it. The food was VERY good! The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. I had locally sourced gator tail with green fried tomatoes, red skin potato wedges, cornbread and a rootbeer float. Also, the coffee is great. I will definitely eat here again.

The food is delicious, served promptly, and at a very affordable price. It brings back memories of the food prices from the 1980s. Most menu items taste like they’re made from scratch. The local smoked sausage is definitely worth the extra dollar—it's incredibly tasty. Although it can get busy at times, it's worth the wait. Definitely recommend!
