"I had a great experience during my visit, starting with the friendly gentleman who took our order and the lovely sight of the cake decorator as we entered. We ordered biscuit sandwiches—mine with ham and my husband's with sausage. The biscuit was fantastic! I wish they offered it with just jam; it was so delicious it felt like we were in the South! I thoroughly enjoyed my ham sandwich, especially because the ham was served in a style that's more off the bone rather than typical deli meat. My husband wasn’t picky about his egg, but he prefers it cooked over easy instead of as an omelet; I think it’s more about personal taste than quality. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean, contributing to a nice ambiance. I particularly appreciated how comfortable the chairs were, as seating in coffee shops can often be less than ideal for longer visits. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning on our next trip to Stowe."

Fantastic spot for coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. Everything is quick and fresh, and their homemade biscuits are amazing!

I wish I had more time to explore this place, but during our two brief visits, it was truly delightful! We ordered lattes and their maple shortbread cookies, which were delicious. The ambiance is also fantastic; it perfectly reflects the charm of the community.

A wonderful cafe. They make coffee, tea, hot chocolate, as well as a variety of breakfast sandwiches and bakery. They also make cakes and other objects. Delicious and handmade. Worth the cost. The staff took time and did everything right! It was estimated! I would definitely go back! View menu

The staff here are very welcoming, and the chai is delightful. I had a delicious tuna wrap made with spinach bread. The atmosphere is relaxing, with plenty of space to unwind at the antique tables while enjoying some classic soft rock music. Plus, they're open until 5 PM. What's not to love?

What a fantastic spot for lunch and coffee! The alpine panini was outstanding, featuring ooey-gooey Brie and sweet apples. We also tried the BLT wrap, which was delicious. However, the highlight was definitely the bowl of potato leek soup—it was definitely large enough to share between two people. The espresso and maple latte were both excellent as well! The space is great, with plenty of tables available for a Friday afternoon.

Adorable little coffee shop in lovely Stowe! I stopped by for a light lunch before heading to a wedding in town. The tuna melt special was just how I like it albacore tuna salad with some sharp VT cheddar. Since I knew I'd be getting sweets at the wedding later, I didn't indulge, but the pastry case was definitely drool worthy! The cafe has free Wifi and made for a nice place to sit and get some work done on a beautiful fall day. Friendly staff put the cherry on top of my visit! View menu

This café is so wonderful! We discovered it during our visit to Stowe and visited some times. There are such a number of baked goods and treats, and they also have a refrigerator with fresh, prefabricated dinner options. I was thrilled that she had found Popover, one of my favorites, and not something often in bakeries! I don't joke when I say they were the size of my face. And so light and tasty! The seating area was nice, and there were some nice goods throughout the business. Would definitely recommend and will return when we are back in Stowe!

The atmosphere is laid back and the perfect place to start a relaxing morning before exploring beautiful Vermont. The place is decorated so cutely and I loved all the bee kind, bee happy items. Honestly I could spend a whole morning here. We sat down and ate but they also do to go. My husband, 1.5 year old and I got the Lord sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit), egg muffin (tomato, mushroom, spinach) and cinnamon toffee scone. My husband and I loved the biscuit sandwich, the local Cabot cheese was an especially nice touch. Our son loved the egg muffin. It had been sitting in the case and the thoughtful employee offered to warm it up and bring it out so he had a hot breakfast. I got...

"Dining at Edson Hill is clearly meant to be an experience. They certainly charge you for it. At those prices, execution and flavor need to be spot on, and they just ... weren't. Pumpkin soup was so bland and thick, it was like eating flavorless applesauce. Scallops were very good, and cooked nicely, but thrown on top of a pile of spaghetti squash that, again, lacked any flavor. It was clearly squash season, but not a hint of spice or nutmeg. The duck was the highlight of the meal, and the only dish that was executed correctly. Our steak frites was so disappointing. The cut should have been saved for well done, it was not a quality piece of filet, which is the wrong steak for a frites anyways. The fries were perfect and plentiful, but when the fries outshine the steak on a frites plate, that's a problem. For $52 I expect a nice cut. Everything lacked salt and pepper. Dessert was fine, but the cheesecake didn't taste of pumpkin at all, and really didn't taste of cheesecake either, more of a slightly sour mousse cake. All in all, this was a lesson. Take your money to Montreal or the Eastern Townships. They do fine dining better, cheaper, and more casually so you don't have to play along with the stilted service only to be disappointed by the food. Edson Hill is meant for an over 50 crowd who is still more impressed by an obsequious maitre d'hotel than by properly seasoned food."
