Sushi Nekosan - Menu

The restaurant offers excellent vegan and gluten-free options. It's my favorite sushi spot in all of San Diego. I highly recommend the Sweetie Pie roll if you're in the mood for delicious vegan gluten-free sushi!

I tried the Sweetie Pie Roll and was pleasantly surprised! It’s different from any sushi I’ve ever tried, and it’s now become my favorite. I love the fact that they have a separate section in the menu for the (many) vegan sushi options. I really recommend this place to vegans!

came here for lunch and will definitely be back! Delicious Sushi and Karaage. We thought the prices were good and we were happy with the napkins. Our waitress was excellent. We sat outside and it was a little cool in the shade, so they turned on the outside heaters. They had little chiffel helpers for the children who were thoughtful. Love they had vegan options!

Extraordinary Sushi Place in La Jolla. Very innovative, great service, absolutely fresh fish and high quality dishes. Everything we ordered was simply delicious: Sashimi and Carpaccio (Hamachi, Salmon, Giant King Clam, Oysters), Sunomono w/ octopus Scallops, Wagyu w/Truffle nigiri, and traditional rolls. Definitively will come back when in La Jolla. I recommend you try NeKoSan. They also prepare large dishes for your parties (decorated sushi and sashimi plates are exquisite).

Besides the wait time totally worth it! Sushi is my favorite food and I?m always willing to try new things. We had an aloha roll that came topped with macadamias and it was so delicious. Also had a dank roll and the name hits home once you have your first bite. We also had the beef gyoza which wasn?t too impressive. But the sushi is amazing. We also have a crispy rice roll and if you love crispy rice you will be in love with the roll. Loved the texture and flavors of everything. View menu

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We were seated right away in their open air terrace and immediately enjoyed the youthful, exciting, and upbeat vibe of the place. Our waiter was charming and attentive, smiling and laughing with everyone and the rest of the staff were fun as well. The best surprise came when we all three ordered the sashimi platter individually, and they put it together into this one magnificent dish with incredibly fresh, diverse, and delicious fish! What a treat, it made out trip!

Fantastic sushi with great service. First and foremost the service here is top notch. Our server brought us a huge bowl of ginger after seeing how I polished off the initial dish of ginger they brought. Then when the sun was baking me, without even asking she moved a parasol over me. The sushi here tastes terrific and is very well presented. We can recommend the Aloha, flaming ahi, and the scallop rolls. We were hungry so we easily polished off 3 rolls so this is not the most cost effective place to satiate hunger haha

Situated in the heart of La Jolla Village, Nekosan has quickly become my favorite sushi spot in the area. The service is friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent. Their homemade hot sake is both delicious and plentiful. Although the space is cozy, the outdoor seating provides ample room for you and your companions without the need for a reservation. We typically visit during the week, so I can't comment on weekends or holidays. However, if you're in San Diego and exploring La Jolla, this place is sure to impress.
