"Everyone I know and talked with loved Sushiritto, they'd remember how it was like getting it in SF downtown and looked forward to it. So obviously when Sushiritto opened in Burlingame, a lot of us were excited and happy about it as we don't have to go all the way to SF or Palo Alto to get one anymore. Unfortunately, the store looks like they are operated in a way to just maximize profit and not maintain what they are known for, the quality of the food and service. They don't even have a proper well invested banner set up, just a cheap print of the Sushiritto on a cheap paper. They seem understaffed a lot as well. Every time I am looking to buy Sushiritto, they are closed at 7:15pm. Despite saying they are open until 8pm. The staff weren't attentive and seem drained to work. I see people wanting to buy but are baffled by the Closed Sign, disappointed. The price has definitely gone up a lot too, you used to be able to buy a Sushiritto under $10, but now it's closing in to $18-20 (Adding service charge or what not), with that price you can most definitely dine somewhere else and get a full service including tips still. It just doesn't make any sense. Overall, I'm sad that their service has gone down the hills. We all love Sushiritto and want to see it thrive, but unless something changes in the management and maybe more effort to boost their employees and staff morale, I don't see Sushiritto growing or surviving. I will still buy from them but I'm not optimistic about their future."

Never had a bad experience here. Staff is easy going and the sushi wraps always taste good

The food was excellent, but I feel that $40 is a bit high for just two burritos and tempura, without any drinks.

I ordered the salmon sushiritto and found it to be a large piece of salmon, sauce, and rice wrapped in seaweed. While it was a unique dish, it didn't quite make it to the top of my list of favorites. View menu

The crispy shrimp tempura certainly lived up to its name—it was wonderfully crispy and also quite delicious. The Sumo Crunch was enjoyable as well, but I would have preferred it with more filling and less of the thick rice wrap.

I had an amazing sushi burrito here last week. The location is on Lorton near Burlingame Avenue, and parking can be a bit tricky due to ongoing construction. However, there's a spacious new parking garage just a block away that rarely gets full (a little insider tip!). The staff is incredibly friendly, and my lunch experience was perfect. I can't wait to return!

I used to think sushi burritos were a gimmick, but they're not bad! I would describe the eating experience and flavors kind of more like a rice wrap than a sushi burrito (maybe most a akin to a giant Korean kimbap? . Each burrito is quite hefty with a fair amount of rice and filling. I personally would enjoy a little less rice, but it makes for a very filling lunch. View menu

what happened Sushirrito !? : used to be one of my favorite quick meals. Yesterday we got the Latin Ninja Geisha Kiss both raw fish burritos). And both were mediocre... plus the fish quality was not fresh and did not look that great either. The pickled cucumber is also kinda strange and does not pair that well and I love cucumbers). I would probably only get the Sumo Crunch shrimp tempura imitation crab) now if I ever come back.

This place can be hard to spot, since it 's on a side-street from Burlingame Ave, but I 'm glad we finally gave this place a try. I can easily spend a lot of money at a sushi joint, so I figured I 'd try a sushi burrito to satisfy my craving. I 'm glad I did. We each got a Sumo Crunch, and they were fat and delicious. I 'm a big guy and I was abled to walk away satisfied. I will definitely be back next time I 'm craving sushi. Only downside is there 's not much in the way of seating. There 's a few uncovered tables outside. See attached photos.

"Curry Hyuga had long been on my culinary radar, and today, I finally had the chance to experience it. The occasion arose as I needed to pick up my partner at SFO later, and given the mere 10-minute drive from the restaurant to the airport, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to satiate my appetite and make the most of my time, rather than aimlessly circling around the airport. Conveniently, there are numerous public parking lots scattered throughout the town. The restaurant opens its doors at 11:30 am, and I arrived promptly at 11:25 am, only to find a queue already forming outside, as depicted in the photo. The attentive server, Yuki promptly greeted each customer and kept my water glasses filled, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.Opting for their Signature Curry Rice Entree, which features their caramelized onion curry accompanied by shredded cabbage, creamy potato salad, and Fukujin pickles, I decided to elevate my meal by adding Chicken Cutlet Katsu Curry with Chicken Karaage as additional toppings. To my amazement, my order was delivered to my table in a mere 3 minutes, which left me thoroughly impressed. Curry Hyuga's standout feature is their incredibly tender meat, perfectly complemented by their mouthwatering curry—a true masterpiece with Kanazawa-style sweetness and richness that sets it apart. To further customize your dish, they offer a selection of five different spices: Ichimi Togarashi, Jalapeno Pepper, Pequin Pepper, Wiri Wiri Pepper, and Orange Habanero. I had the pleasure of sampling all of them, and personally, I found the Wiri Wiri Pepper and Orange Habanero powder to be standout choices. Their spiciness elevated the curry to a whole new level, complemented by the unique fragrance of the peppers."

"I made reservations here for Valentine's day and everything was perfect! Their service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and with each dish it was cool how they talked about the food and explained some of the tastes and flavors just before we began eating. And they get huge props for accommodating my dietary restrictions and modifying almost every item on their menu to something I could eat! (5/5) Osetra caviar I normally hate caviar, but this one was really good! It's cured so it's a bit salty (4/5) Sauteed baby abalone Pretty good, although it doesn't quite compare to ones I've had in the past. That said, one doesn't eat abalone often, so I think the bar for abalone is pretty high (5/5) Warm lobster salad Wow! The lobster was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Also I thought the charred avocado was interesting; they blowtorch the avocado to give it a slightly tougher texture on the outside, mirroring the lobster (4/5) Braised Lamb Ragu The lamb was exploding with spices and flavor, although it was a tad dry inside. The pappardelle was perfectly al dente (4/5) Black Cherry Sorbet Pretty good, the puffed black rice was a bit hard (one of the pieces was like a rock) but the sorbet was flavorful without being too strong (5/5) Hokkaido A5 Wagyu This was the star of the show. Have you ever had steak that melts in your mouth like butter?? The only problem with this dish is that there were only 2 slices of steak! I wish there were 3! (5/5) Spicy Kiss Passion Fruit Juice They made a modification and gave me a small shot of spicy, fizzy passion fruit juice. The chili had a lot of heat but actually went well with the sourness and fizz of the juice. I would never have though of making passion fruit spicy, but it was pretty tasty (4/5) Cubed fruit stack I don't know what to call this since they also did an entirely separate fruit dessert for me, but it was essentially a Rubik's cube made of watermelon, kiwi, and strawberry, topped with a dark chocolate covered strawberry. (5/5) House made meringue I also don't normally like meringue, but this was like candy and tasted amazing! Thanks Viognier for a wonderful evening and accommodating my dietary needs, everything was solid!"
