"I came in here for dinner 2 hours before closing time. You get double the amount for the same price than you would get at chipotle or a chain-restaurant. The portion was a great size. I got a chicken and rice empanada and it was delicious. The rice and beans were bland but they were still really good. The burrito was overflowing with meat. It was good, but I could tell it wasn’t fresh and had been sitting for some time/was reheated. In one of the reviews it showed all the ingredients fresh and out, I’m willing to say that if that were the case and I had come in earlier, it would have been better. The employees were really nice. I am rooting for this place and I really wanted to like it more. There wasn’t a lot of other customers and it was nearing closing so I understand the meat not being freshly made. I hope to give them a try again, preferably around lunch time and come back with a raving review. I think the rice and beans were good but they could start to incorporate a little more flavor, given this is a Mexican joint. Taco Rey Coliman is a sprinkle of different flavor this town desperately needs! The food is great for it's price and abundant, I love getting a big plate full every time. This cozy little spot in downtown Gardner has convenient street parking. They offer a great menu and the staff is very friendly. My partner and I ordered burritos and chips with salsa for under $25. The meal was delightful, the portions were just right, and the salsa had a nice kick to it. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town! View menu

What a charming little restaurant! The food was fantastic; we tried the Chimichanga Ranchera and the Enchiladas, both of which were larger than we expected. We ended up eating more than we planned because it was just so delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly as well. We will definitely return, and we can’t wait to revisit Taco Rey Coliman!

Was very disappointed with Taco Rey Coliman. It's Cinco de Mayo. Our office was very excited to get take out from here. I called at 11:14am and was told that they would not take an order until 11:45am. I explained I had 7 orders to place and it would give them extra time, but I was turned away. I started calling back at 11:44am for 10 minutes. They never answered the phone. It just kept going to a fax machine. We'll be sure to never order from them again.
