"Came here in a party of 3 for lunch. We really enjoyed the delicious food and complimentary chai. Service was a bit lacking but our whole experience was good. Service was ok but I feel this was the one downfall of our meal. The waitress was not very warm, she didn't greet us or start the dining experience with a hello and welcome. She was also timid which made us feel a bit uncomfortable for her. They were very attentive to our table but shy and standoff ish. Food was amazing! We enjoyed a classic Buttered Chicken and Lamb Coconut Curry with garlic and butter naan and rice. Awesome food! I crave it even now while I write this. Atmosphere was good. Spacious and clean. We were there at a quiet time but it seems well laid out for the busy hours. Drinks weren't comprehensive and I didnt notice too many options but that doesn't seem like a big deal for a place like this. What I REALLY enjoyed was the chai. It's a great touch to offer this complimentary service and I've only seen it in a few Indian restaurants. Really appreciated it. Prices were good and very reasonable. Portions seemed standard for what we've seen elsewhere and prices were good. Especially given the quality of food. Would definitely go again if craving Indian food. Give it a shot if you're around here!"

Delicious food, nice quiet atmosphere to eat while chatting with friends. No pressure to go when we chat after our meal.

Very attentive waitress. And the meals were so well prepared, the flavoring on each dish was succulent! Will definitely come here with my family!

The first time here and it is such a great hidden jewel for their service and very delicious Indian food. Ck Tikka Masala with butter Naan and Mango Lassi is a must try!! I can't wait to go back? View menu

the chef comes from a large Indian food inheritance in a downtown-SF location in campton place hotel. it translates into the east bay somehow not meaningful. eating and drinks were only average. not expensive, but no great experience.

When someone who experienced Japanese and Indian Curry and Na'ans in Okinawa and both loved, this place meets this high bar. Just 5 stars. Naans come in set of 4 so do not make my mistake and end with 16 naans recommendation: Butter Chicken Curry Garlic Naan Onion Masala Naan

The chef at this downtown SF location at the Campton Place Hotel comes from a notable Indian food background. Unfortunately, the quality of the cuisine does not seem to carry over to the East Bay location. The food and drinks were mediocre and the overall experience was not remarkable. Prices were reasonable, but overall it was not a standout dining experience. View menu

We began our meal with the sweet pakoras before sharing the lamb curry and chicken biryani. The portion sizes were generous, enough to serve four people although there were just two of us. The pakoras were crispy and flavorful, which was my favorite dish. Both the biryani and lamb curry were also delicious. We dined at 5pm, so the restaurant was not crowded and provided a peaceful dining experience.

My dining companion and I began our meal with the vegetable pakora before diving into the lamb curry and chicken biryani. The portion sizes were generous, easily serving four people despite there being only two of us. The pakora was a standout for me, perfectly crispy and seasoned. Both the biryani and lamb dish were also scrumptious. We visited the restaurant at 5 pm, making for a peaceful and quiet dining experience due to the lack of crowds.
