"The restaurant is clean and well-lit, and the staff is friendly and attractive. The salsa bar was well-maintained, and the pico de gallo was very fresh. The Jamaican ham was flavorful and not watered down like at some other places. My spouse ordered chorizo and eggs, which arrived in just 7 minutes. She enjoyed it, although she found the refried beans a bit too watery. I ordered the "7 mares," but requested the shells to be removed. It took longer for my dish to arrive, about 25 minutes. I suppose making this soup takes time to get it right. Overall, it was quite tasty, but I noticed the broth was a bit oily and thick. The flavors were good and not overly spicy. There were three different kinds of shrimp, which I found interesting, but I prefer my shrimp peeled and deveined. The octopus was thick and chewy; I’m not sure if it's possible to make it tender without making customers wait even longer. Squid would be a better alternative, as its body and tentacles are thinner and become more tender. To improve the soup, I would suggest using Dungeness crab instead of the small, thin-legged crab that was difficult to work with. The "7 mares" cost $19. I enjoyed the dish overall, but I might not order it again unless they make the suggested changes. However, I will definitely return to this restaurant to sample their other menu items."

Anyway, my business won. Super friendly staff and good food. I went with the chili relleno burrito and was super happy with him (thanks to the previous review). The Burrito was delicious, chips and salsa were great, and the prices are exactly where they should be. Will surely return!

This was our first visit, and we were very impressed. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, with excellent customer service. Today we ordered the Alambres plate Molcajete bowl….. SO MUCH FLAVOR FOOD!!!! Definitely each on their own is meant to share!!!! We now have breakfast covered for tomorrow…. Lol…..I wish they had pictures of all of their food, maybe we would have been braver to try new things sooner! Definitely best meal here yet!!! This restaurant is great. Service is good. Best Mexican food in Rocklin!My favorites: carne asada torta, and $9 burrito ?. Enchiladas popular. Beans are tasty. Their salsa bar is excellent. Chips are too!They have a large TV to watch sport games and mostly Mexican beers in bottles to purchase. Dine in and enjoy! They also have a to go line and are efficient on getting customers food quickly and have decent prices. Bathrooms are clean and shiny.
