"UPDATE OCTOBER 2023: We had only ordered take out from Terakawa before. Today, we opted for dining in. We had to downgrade the place by one star. The dining room is very cramped. The distance between tables is almost nonexistent, so elbow rubbing with other diners is inevitable, with zero privacy (unlike very comfortable seating in Sumi Ramen in Plainsboro, next door). The service is super rushed. Our appetizers and the main courses arrived exactly at the same time, which considering our miniscule table for two was quite inconvenient. The food and the pricing remain good. We had ordered a take out from Terakawa Ramen last night. Very positive experience. Our choice was Kyushu Danji Ramen (natural heritage pork bone soup with mayu oil (dark roasted leek with crushed garlic oil) with medium thick noodle topped with roast pork (charshu), bamboo shoot, red ginger, seasoned boiled egg, kikurage mushroom, cabbage, carrot, and bean sprout) and it was very good. The amount of food, such as noodles, the ramen soup itself, the pork and the fillings was plentiful. We can honestly say that the portion was enough to feed two people. The packaging was great, the food was still hot, as if it were served in a restaurant. The restaurant features chef driven recipes from Kumamoto region in Japan. We will definitely order from Terakawa again."

The service was excellent, and the food was incredibly fresh. However, I found the ramen broth to be lacking in flavor, and the portion of protein in the ramen was on the smaller side.

I took the kids to this restaurant over Thanksgiving weekend since they were in the mood for ramen. Everyone loved their dishes. I ordered the special, which was good but not outstanding. The flavors didn't really impress me and could use a bit more depth. The portions were generous, so we all had leftovers to take home. The service was friendly, and the decor was clean and straightforward.

While exploring Chinatown, My sister and I stumbled upon this Ramen shop and decided to give it a try. It's challenging to find quality ramen, but this place exceeded my expectations. We began with the delicious bao buns and karaage, which were simply fantastic. The ramen we ordered was outstanding. I opted for the signature pork bone soup with flavorful roast pork (charshu), complemented by a perfectly soft-boiled egg. The presentation was impressive, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this spot when you're in the area!

We were delighted to find an authentic ramen noodle shop. This was close to the train station as we were returning from NYC, and even though it was a busy dinner hour they managed to find a table for 2 with no waiting. This is definitely a hot spot with the locals. I had the spicy ramen, and on a heat scale of 1 to 10, a 6 is considered normal and was sufficient to make my brow sweat. The broth flavor was wonderful and the heritage Berkshire pork melted in my mouth. It was wonderful. The service was very attentive as they all work as a team. I highly recommend. View menu

I've tried ramen in many locations and I can say with confidence that for a Vegetarian... this is the best place. Their Veggie Ramen options are delicious and the staff is friendly and professional. My girlfriend enjoys all of the seafood and other options here as well. We both love visiting this location whenever we can. At this point, we live about 2 hours away and still try to have ramen here at least once every 1-2 months. If there was more stars to give I would give them all. Vegetarian options: If you are a vegetarian and haven't tried Ramen yet... this is the place I would recommend to you. If you don't eat eggs, please, tell them to put your egg on the side (for a friend) or just say...

A small, rather unassuming restaurant that was nicely decorated without being too much. I probably would have been fine without an appetizer since I was alone, but was glad I ordered the Pork Buns to start. Not overly sweet and you have a choice of soft or crispy buns. For my entree, I had their signature Terakawa Ramen, which had thin, straight noodles which held up well. The broth was delicious and I appreciated their seasoned egg, which was basically a half of a semi-hard boiled egg. I liked biting into that juicy yolk. For dessert, I had mango mochi. Clean presentation without the unnecessary whipped cream some places add. Service was good but maybe a bit rushed. Definitely a place I rec...
