"We wanted to take my mother out for lunch on her birthday, and she specifically wanted to try this deli. My husband and I are originally from Chicago, so as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the familiar aromas of Chicago delicacies. He ordered the French Dip Sandwich, while my mother and I opted for Reubens. Each sandwich came with a kosher pickle, wavy potato chips, and a drink. The food was excellent and didn't disappoint. The portion sizes were just right. I didn’t inquire about potato salad, coleslaw, or macaroni salad, but those would have made nice additions to the meal. The iced tea was just right, and the coffee was strong and hot, with several flavors of creamer available. They had a temptingly delicious cheesecake for dessert, but we were too full to indulge! The prices are fair for the quality of food served. Just a note: 42Deli currently only serves lunch and does not offer breakfast, even though some Google listings may say otherwise. They mentioned that they might have a breakfast menu in the future, but for now, they do not have the facilities to prepare eggs."

"The $6 meal is 7 now and the blizzard upgrade is 2 . I had the $6 cheeseburger meal deal and added a $1 for the blizzard instead of the Sunday. My cheeseburger was great. The burger was grilled hot and juicy with fresh toppings, the fries were hot and crispy but the star of the show was the turtle blizzard chocolaty ice cream with tiny pieces of chocolate, carmel and salty pecans . I want another one. The $6 deal is now $7 and $2 for a blizzard."

"I’ve had Chinese restaurants in multiple states across the country, this is by far one of the worst places I’ve ever had. I truthfully would not recommend this to my enemies. Very little variety, filthy tables and silverware during a pandemic! Frozen egg rolls, unfresh food, and filthy windows. I’ve never seen a place sell actual store bought deserts before. They’re reselling Kroger bagged donuts. If it was possible to review a 0/5 I would. The only positive aspects of this place is the kind staff and the cheap price. Drive to Roanoke and spend your money in some place you won’t regret."

"This place is legit the best place to eat in Clifton Forge. I could stop there. Service, regardless of how busy, is given with a smile; the owner and head chef works hard and is really friendly. The food is great. I had the margherita pizza, Wings, and garlic knots with my family this trip. It was a fairly busy day with most of the booths full, we sat in the back area, and it was great. Even with an absolute ton of people, there food came out quickly, accurately and, man, that pizza dough is just the way I like it. Chewy, yet crisp with a slight sourness to the dough and well proportioned toppings. The wings were good, and the sauce was great I got normal mild buffalo sauce. I have been here several times before and the Garlic knots are a must to be honest. They're not an option when you go, you just need to order them."
