"After three years, I finally had the chance to visit this restaurant! We had dinner and kicked off our meal with some delightful espresso martinis. For appetizers, we ordered the truffle fries and the avocado stack, both of which were fantastic and came in generous portions! My boyfriend opted for the salmon sandwich, which he thoroughly enjoyed, while I chose a salad that was absolutely enormous! It seemed to have an entire avocado on top, along with a variety of veggies and nuts. It was incredibly tasty! For dessert, we shared the lemon shake-up drink and a slice of Gwendolyn's famous chocolate cake. The cake was not only stunning and glittery but also gigantic! The sea salt on top was a wonderful complement to the sweetness. We even got an extra piece to take home for my mom. The only reason I rated the service four stars instead of five was due to a bit of a delay after we were seated and while placing our drink and food orders. Our server was very kind, just a little slow. I’m looking forward to trying something else the next time I visit Carmel!"

We really enjoyed our time there! The appetizer and cake we got were amazing but the entree was just okay. The chairs are super loud and sound like nails on a chalk board on their floors. It was super distracting. Other than that we loved it!

The menu is very diverse. The atmosphere is beautiful. The staff is friendly. My only regret is that I wish they would offer a small sampler of several desserts to choose from as an option. It would be great for two people to share several bites of a few of the cakes. Fun place!

Our server Sarah was so personable and did an outstanding job of taking care of us! Excellent service. We had to ask for more dressing for salad but the quiche was a very large portion and very savory! The hummingbird cake was very good! The staff was very accommodating for any special needs!

We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time and then seated in a tiny corner that cut off access to the table behind us. The person at the end of their table literally had to move so I could access my seat. Our server worked very hard but was spread too thin by too many tables. The shop was charming and had a lovely fairy princess tea party vibe. The food was decent; I had a chicken salad sandwich, which was alright. However, the avocado stack was fantastic, and I could eat it every day! Their desserts and drinks really shine, making it a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Overall, I had a pleasant experience, but I was a bit let down by the food's flavor, which felt a little too simple for my taste.

What an incredible restaurant! I celebrated my birthday dinner here with friends, and it was the perfect setting for my tea party theme. The atmosphere is beautiful both inside and out. Our server, Beth, provided impeccable service that truly enhanced our experience. I ordered the Chicken Piccata along with an Arnold Palmer, and for dessert, I had the Raspberry Champagne cake. It was the best cake I've ever tasted—moist, generously portioned, and perfectly balanced in flavor, not too bland or overly sweet. Everything was absolutely perfect. I definitely recommend this place!
