"This is a typical Irish pub located in an unusual spot. The food was incredibly overpriced. I understand it's Boston, but there are at least three better places in the city where you can get an $18 cheeseburger. My date ordered the Caesar salad, which was pretty average, and the chicken was not great. It had that bland, generic flavor that you sometimes get with unseasoned chicken. If you know, you know. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially since there are so many better dining options near Washington Street and Faneuil Hall."

Terrific food, Guinness pour well done. Service a little slow at times but I think due to staffing. Wait staff friendly otherwise.

Excellent pies... had the chicken and ham. Wife had the 1/2 chicken which she loved. Great draft selection along with a huge variety of Irish whiskey (no surprise there). Server was attentive and quite friendly. Definitely going to return!

Despite having reservations with a specific request to be seated in a quiet part of the restaurant (as we were on a previous visit), we were informed that area would not be available without explanation.Sadly, the area out of seating was in a very loud location which really negatively impacted our experience as we were meeting with old friends we hadn’t seen in a long time. Not likely to return to The Dubliner anytime soon.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
