"We ordered a bottle of wine, which took over 30 minutes to arrive, and when it was finally opened, it tasted off. The cork was completely dried out, indicating poor storage. As for the food, each dish took about 30 minutes to come out. I ordered the Irish cut, which they're known for, specifically a filet mignon. However, when the main course arrived, it was clearly frozen and not the filet mignon as advertised. I ended up not eating it. To make things even stranger, within just 10 minutes of serving the main course, the server came by to clear the table, which felt odd. The whole experience took around two hours, and we were the only customers there. For $200, I definitely don’t think it was worth it. I would recommend staying away from this place."

Quiet, quaint family business. Attentive service but slow. Tend to be out of menu items.

Food is authentic but a bit overpriced. Service was attentive but theres only a couple of servers for the many guests that were dining in, so there’s a but of a wait when you need water filled up, getting your check, etc.

This is a wonderful quiet romantic spot with truly an Irish experience. The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. The proprietors were Hostess and Chef, and also Sisters. We were there 2 hours and enjoyed every minute. Great special occasion restaurant. Kinda of hidden off 71 , but don't miss this place! View menu

Everyone should experience a meal at the Emerald! It was like stepping back into time. Very cute and quaint space that makes you feel like you are in an Irish pub. Michelle our server was the sweetest and shared allot of the history with us. The food was phenomenal and the portions were so big, we left very satisfied.

A truly unique experience! You feel like you went back in time eating in an authentic Irish cottage. The service is exceptional and the food is sumptuous. The onion soup is the best I've ever eaten and the duck was mouth watering delicious. It is definitely worth the price. We save The Emerald for special occasions and date nights.

price fixed Valentine's Day menu was delicious, but not mentioned anywhere on the open table website. due to my experience with another restaurant on a holiday, I guess it is difficult for restaurants to consider special menus or hours. the prix fixe menu was the only option tonight. I enjoyed it and it was not important to pay the high price for a multilingual dinner. but 2 tables after the reception of her brotes, and I suspect it was because the price surprised her. About 45 minutes later, a woman named Emerald called me back. She explained that she had taken a quick break, thinking she would return before we arrived. But honestly, how many restaurants operate with just one person on duty each night?! Her explanation didn't make much sense to us. I’m sure there could have been someone else there. It felt like a ghost town; there were absolutely no customers in sight! Emerald's used to be a reliable choice, but it has really gone downhill. We won't be returning again.

The prix fixe Valentine’s Day menu was delightful, though I noticed it wasn't mentioned on the Open Table site. Given my previous experiences with other restaurants during holidays, I imagine it's challenging for them to communicate special menus or hours. That night, the prix fixe menu was the only option available. I personally enjoyed the meal and didn’t mind the higher price for a multi-course experience. However, I did notice that two tables left after just receiving their bread, and I suspect they were taken aback by the cost.

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
