"The food was fantastic! We tried the ceviche, green beans, beef tartare, and mushroom quesadilla (which wasn’t very good), along with the pork jowl bowls. The drinks were excellent, too. However, the only downside was how warm and sticky it was in the dining room. We would have stayed longer and enjoyed more drinks, but it was just too hot and uncomfortable. It felt like the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. When I return, I’ll definitely ask for a table in the coolest part of the dining room."

Very good except you need some wine glasses with stems for small arthritic hands to hold on to.

Came in on a thirsty. There was a fast, helpful and friendly service. The place has a beautiful atmosphere. The atmosphere is like a restaurant in Fort Worth that I loved.

Great place for Happy Hour! I came with a group of 8 on a beautiful Austin evening to enjoy their terrace. Good selection of drinks and snacks. You have your own parking space that makes access easy!

This place is just great! From art on the walls to friendly staff, they have a great vision and decor. The food is great and unique. I can't say that traditional Mexican dishes like them do great for a long brunch with friends. View menu

The food was delicious and the staff were really nice. It was just slow service. The beef tartar was amazing and so were the Brussels sprouts. I had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was so good. My cousin really enjoyed his birthday.

Kinda meh across the board. Nothing bad, but nothing great. Small portions for some dishes and decent portions on others for similar prices. Menu all over the place, doesn’t seem focused. Service was fine but food was slow. Beverage menu meh.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delightful. We sampled the beef tartare, cheese, Brussels sprouts, roasted pork jowl, and of course, a variety of cocktails. During happy hour, the prices here are unbeatable for the quality of the food. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely return! View menu

This place is super sweet. Dog-friendly. Very tasty food. Great service. I took a star because my food hatch was warm... closer to the cold, but it tasted good. You have a big **** Mary Bar. It comes with a little beer. Coffee was hot. I didn't drink it, but I could see how the heat goes off and my little cousin burned his lips. Not the restaurants to blame... lol

I can?t fathom how delicious the pork jowl was; everything in the bowl was nuanced, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It might be the single best dish I?ve had. Our waitress was very helpful and answered our somewhat extensive questions about the menu. My wife had the dumplings and they were also great. The sleeper bit of the meal was the cornbread...I?m not sure what kind of black magic they?re conjuring in the kitchen, but it works. Go here, you won?t regret it.

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
