"The food was good. Brisket Mac was just okay tasted very creamy but in a box or velvet a shell kind of way. The burger “burger of the month” was delicious with fried onion straws and fried jalapeños and pico all as toppings. Cooked perfectly. I really wanted to try the deep fried Oreos but they were out so I got waffles instead. What a great choice! Waffles had a perfect cinnamon flavor and was served warm with ice cream and bacon sprinkles yep bacon but it was great, Id defiantly go back. There’s a lot of construction down there due to the new stadium so parking was terrible had to park like 3 blocks away."

Really good food at the Slate. The different variety of tacos were all really good. Loved the ribeye tacos.

The Wisco Burger was excellent! The fries were also quite tasty. You definitely get a Bloody Mary with all the fixings. There was a mix-up with our order, but our server was fantastic and corrected it right away.

Had a drink and dinner before the Godsmack concert and the food and drinks were top notch and reasonable price. Great place for a pre- or post-game/concert/event drink or dinner. Also waitstaff was fast and friendly View menu

The food here is fantastic! Our waiter Parker was very attentive even as it started to get busy. My only complaint was I had more ice in my drink than actual soda. But overall I'd definitely recommend checking this place out.

Went here before a Bucks game. Great food, our waitress was superb and very attentive even though it was super busy. Only negative is that it's VERY small which sucks because it's a must go to grill and bar. Fries and burgers were also fantastic!

This restaurant truly embodies the spirit of Milwaukee. The staff was exceptionally friendly, quick, and accommodating. Their Bloody Mary is undoubtedly the best we've found in the area, both in flavor and presentation. We'll definitely be back next time! Thank you! View menu

A fantastic bar with delicious food and amazing Happy Hour drink specials! We tried the cheese curds and wings, and both were outstanding. The bar was beautifully decorated for Halloween, so I would definitely return during the Christmas season to enjoy the festive atmosphere!

The Loaded Slate made for a great stop before the recent Bucks' NBA Finals game. We enjoyed a couple of ice cold glasses of Spotted Cow beer plus an order of cheese curds. The bar's interior decor is, of course, Wisconsin sports related, with most of it being the Packers and NFL. If you are bar hopping or simply looking for a great local place to stop, this is it.

"This restaurant was really trying to be the third coast by dumping the entire ocean 's worth of salt into their dishes. I have never been so thirsty in my life the day after I ate here. With the number of great reviews on top of the beautiful interiors, I had such high expectations for this restaurant that I happily brought my partner and his father (who traveled from out of the country to visit to the restaurant. Imagine my disappointment and embarrassment for bringing them here, only to be given overpriced and oversalted food. The only redeeming factors of the restaurant were the interior design (absolutely gorgeous , the potholes (delicious but still salty , and our waitress who served us in the mezzanine on 10/8 (I forgot her name, sorry! . When we first got our appetizer--the mushrooms, we were literally eating a spoonful of salt at a time. I RARELY send back food, but I had to send the mushrooms back before the dish induces any hypertensive emergency among us. After we got the new mushrooms dish after telling our waitress we wanted just 1/4-1/3 of the salt, the dish still came back extremely salty and the waitress said the cook apologized for ACCIDENTALLY DOUBLE-SALTING THE DISH. I 'm sorry, but WHAT. All of our subsequent dishes then tasted all just like salt without a hint of other seasoning. I wasn 't sure if it 's because our tastebuds were so skewed after eating so much salt that our remaining dishes just didn 't taste that great. It was just salty. Anyways we walked out with a $260 bill for three people which was outrageous for this quality of food in Milwaukee of all places. I 'm not sure how people are raging about this restaurant. I have sworn to never return and have told others to avoid going to this restaurant altogether. Opt for somewhere else for better quality food that 's actually worth the cost."
