My boyfriend and I dined here tonight. I'm not really into seafood, so I opted for a pineapple margarita, which was delicious! My boyfriend mentioned that the lobster roll he had was fantastic!

"Nice casual place with decent food, all predictable if you like that. Nothing too different or exciting. Italian? not really, except lots of pastas but not fresh pastas...shouldn't there be at least one? Well appointed dining areas. Our server was pleasant, very accommodating efficient. Didn't interrupt our meal too much. Fairly quiet but loud talking coming from the bar area seemed to be mostly from the bartender. The food was only OK. We go out pay the ever increasing prices for food that is different or maybe not often prepared at home. Otherwise, why not stay home? Certainly the wine is less expensive! This restaurant used to serve much better food, for the first couple of years or so after opening particularly when it was Academy Ocean Grill. Hard to explain, it's like the food is prepared by a cook rather than a chef. We'd rather go to Mahoney's which is a little more expensive but the food service is outstanding in every way."

"This restaurant is worth every penny. We arrived right before the dinner rush and although there were a couple of people ahead of us, we put our name on the list and enjoyed margaritas from the bar. The bar is for customers waiting to be seated, so you need to inform the bartender if you want a seat at the bar, it's not a typical grab a chair situation. The margaritas were really good! The only problem we encountered was that there were no buzzers or texts to alert us when our table was ready for those on the waitlist. We waited for almost an hour until I noticed people who came in after us were getting seated. When we checked in with the host, we found that our name had been marked as 'missing', even though we were just two chairs down at the bar. Once this issue was resolved, we were seated immediately and the rest of the night was perfect. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine, tuna sashimi appetizer, grilled swordfish, and lobster ravioli - all perfectly cooked and the freshest fish. The bread pudding with fresh berries and cream for dessert was just the right amount of sweet to share at the end. This was a high-quality dinner and a great start to our trip to Cape Cod. I highly recommend this restaurant, just make sure to keep track of your spot on the waitlist."

"We ordered the meat lovers omelet with home fries, a blueberry muffin, and apple crisp French toast. The French toast was generously topped with apples and infused with a delightful cinnamon flavor. It was perfectly toasted, with a rich, buttery taste. The apples maintained a slight crunch and were very delicious. As for the omelet, it was packed with sausage, chunks of ham, bacon, and linguica, although the taste of the linguica didn’t stand out much. When we cut into the omelet, plenty of melted cheese oozed out. The home fries were crispy and made up of small potato chunks. The blueberry muffin was toasted on the grill, soft, and bursting with blueberries. Overall, we had a great meal complemented by excellent service. The servers frequently checked in to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. From what I saw at the other tables, their dishes looked intriguing too, especially the eggs Benedict with hash. I will definitely be returning to explore more items on the menu."

"I found the fish and chips at this restaurant to be disappointing. They are now cooked in an English-style batter, which isn't to my liking. I used to love their original Cape Cod batter. Additionally, the fish didn't taste fresh; it had a strong fishy smell when cooked, which fresh fish shouldn't have. I won't be coming back. While the service was good, the food didn't meet my expectations. The atmosphere was pleasant, although parking was a bit challenging. If you're curious, I would recommend trying the Fish 'N Chips. The average price per person for dinner is around $10-20."

"For our final meal in New England before returning to the Midwest, we wanted to enjoy some fresh seafood. We discovered this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made! Everything was incredibly fresh, served hot, and absolutely delicious. The staff at the counter were very friendly and helpful, without being too pushy. We opted to share two platters, but honestly, with the generous portions they provided, we could have easily been satisfied with just the clam strips (which are the BEST I've ever had). We were also thrilled to have ordered the lobster club, as it was fantastic!"
