"a must if they are in the inner city albany, I liked it, alot! it is the second oldest building in albany. feels like you're back in the day and just out of your horse. the inner has beautiful dark wood, a folding floor, with an old fashion bar. we sat outside in the beautiful garden, under the tree roof. there are lighter in the night, so it must be beautiful. we were there for lunch, eating was amazing, no disappointments! the tomaten soup, salate, burger, all that the table has ordered!"

We had a great time at the restaurant. The waitress was very attentive and the fish and chips were delicious. The food was of good quality and we enjoyed it.

Good beers cocktails with decent pub food. Try the alcoholic ginger beer selection. Limited seating, outdoor spots available with decent scenery. Try parking in the rear if needed.

An amazing dining experience from start to finish! From the warm greeting to the delectable mussels in creamy sauce and the best grilled cheese I've ever tasted, this is a meal worth coming back for time and time again. I will definitely make the trip from Philadelphia to visit again soon. View menu

I recently dined at a restaurant housed in a historic building dating back to 1736. The ambiance was incredibly cool and unique. Our server, along with the rest of the staff, was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, although I did find that the options on the menu were somewhat limited on the food side.

I recently visited this pub during my short business trip to Mauritius and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was outstanding. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be my go-to spot. I highly recommend trying their burger - it's absolutely worth it!

I ordered the Steak Frites cooked medium and the fries were supposed to be Truffle Fries. The meal was $26. The steak was undercooked, the fries were overcooked, and they tasted like regular overcooked fries. The music was terrible. I expected better for the price. The only positive was that they refunded my money. I will not be returning. View menu

Didn't order food, we got a couple drafts went outside to watch the band, Off the Record, they were amazing. Outside bar could not serve us beers?? Only liquor. We were told we weren't supposed to sit where we were since our table is for food service only?? Never heard this from any bar ever. Outside seating was actually pretty cool despite the staff their stiff attitudes. I did enjoy being there but not sure I would choose it again.

This is a beautiful place to visit! I loved the back patio, it was peaceful and clean. I drank their Cabernet Sauvignon and I had the Arugula salad which contained Evoo oil, lemon and fresh parmesan cheese. The tomato basil soup was lovely as well, it was served with garlic toast and a parmesan chip. The service was perfect. I have zero complaints about this pub. Plus, the inside just screams dark academia. There are surprises around every corner, in the best way possible.

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."
