"Great place great food this restaurant located inside of the Hotel at the brooklyn dumbo area near the promenade. When you go in to the hotel go to your right or ask and they will tell you were it is. The food is Australian cuisine and the atmosphere is lovely great for a nice brunch lunch breakfast or dinner. We had brunch and dessert sooo good see the photos"

Eggplant as an app and garlic prawns were really good. But Ordered the halibut but I got monkfish with a side of confusion. Taste was very bland and would have ordered something else if I’d known. Drinks were tasty. View menu

We stayed at the hotel while visiting family. We took several groups of family to the restaurant for meals and were treated amazing. Great staff and food. In the evenings we ended our days in the bar and received amazing service with a great atmosphere.

The standout feature of The Osprey is its customer service. Laura does a fantastic job, and Margareth is incredibly professional. From the servers to the manager, we felt exceptionally well cared for throughout our visit. My favorite part was the small plates dessert.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
