"During the COVID era of takeout, I was thrilled to discover an amazing Cuban sandwich at The Sandwich Shop. Any true Cuban sandwich lover will tell you that the key lies in the right bread and the way the pork is cooked—and they have both nailed in their El Cubano! They add just the right amount of pickles and cheese, making this one of my favorite sandwiches on their menu. The only drawback is that you need to order it early because it’s a top seller. They cook the pork overnight (the authentic way) and serve it fresh each day, but once it’s sold out, it’s gone! It’s so delicious that I can only treat myself to one every couple of months, or I would end up gaining a lot of weight! I recommend going for the FULL SIZE option for just a few extra bucks, as it can easily last two days and reheats nicely in the oven for lunch the next day. Their soups are also really tasty!"

Overall, everything seems fine, but I would have preferred if they hadnt included the avocado with the dark spots; I find that aspect unappetizing.

The prices definitely reflect the taste. The Tuna Melt was REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD!!! Not your traditional NYC tuna melt but definitely worth every penny!! Also the deliverZero packaging is worth the extra .99 cents!!!! View menu

The Our Signature Creamy Tomato Soup is outstanding! It has become my go-to tomato soup. It's also quite satisfying! I paired it with The American, and the combination was fantastic; just a heads up, though—it is definitely filling!

I had a decent Tuna Melt here, but I only chose it because they were out of many sides and other sandwiches on the menu. I might return to try some other options, but I'm not convinced it was worth the price compared to getting a good loaded sandwich from a deli.

I ordered a Tuna melt, but I received a call saying they were out of tuna. They suggested a chicken and avocado sandwich instead, and wow, it was a perfect 10/10! Such a delicious sandwich. A big shout-out to the chef for creating great food. Now, I don't think any other sandwich shop can compare to this one! View menu

I haven't been to the shop itself but we order lunch at work from here REGULARLY!!! Anytime we're tired of last night's leftovers, everyone is always up for Sandwich Shop. I'm tasting my way through the menu and haven't been disappointed in anything. Every sandwich is packed, never shy with the toppings, and tastes amazing! A must try, if you haven't yet.

I had a fantastic experience at this sandwich and soup shop. I ordered 12 sandwiches for a photo shoot, and they exceeded my expectations—each one was expertly made and delicious! The food was prepared and delivered promptly without compromising on quality. This place is a perfect choice for catering events or parties, and it's also an excellent spot for lunch. I highly recommend it and will definitely be placing another order. Thank you!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
