"This place has a unique vibe; it’s not your typical bar setting with standardized seating, which makes it feel intimate. Once you arrive, take a moment to relax and enjoy the atmosphere as you watch the time slip away. It's a cozy spot to catch some games or simply enjoy the lively scene of people strolling through downtown Hilo’s Farmers Market. The cocktails here are impressive, the prices are reasonable, and the service is top-notch. I can confidently say it was one of the best happy hours I've experienced. Of course, I couldn’t resist trying some of their delightful appetizers. Two little devils appeared on my shoulders, one urging me to try the Caprese Bites, and they did not disappoint—especially when paired with a slice of prosciutto. Then the other little devil couldn’t help but tempt me with the Smokey Flatbread topped with Smoky Jalapeno. Oh my, I won’t lie—I gave in to my cravings within the welcoming confines of The Temple Bar."

We had the Ahi tacos, clams, BLT salad, and the mushrooms. Mushrooms are a must. $8 for a side of heaven. Clams were a great match. Ahi tacos were super, and the green salsa rocked. BLT salad was an amazing mixture of tastes, and was super. Croutons were amazing to dip in the clam broth.
