"The food here was incredible! If that’s the only measurement of the review it would be 5 stars. The service and time to get our food was a huge issue. Our waitress sat us and told us that she is also the bartender so our drinks would take a while. We ordered 3 beers and they eventually came out. As we ordered food the waitress was busy trying to talk to her friends? Another table? We weren’t sure, but she was distracted. The food took over an hour to come out without the waitress telling us it would take that long. The big issue was with the bill. Before she brought us the bill she said “that other table just stiffed me a tip. I just lost my nanny job today, and they said ‘if you’re as bad of a nanny as you are a waitress, I see why you got fired.’” It was a very awkward thing for her to say. We asked for it to be split and she charged us and our friends for the neighboring table? And she didn’t know how to reverse charges and charge us the correct amount. She then got mad at US for asking her to fix it. I left with my two young kids, because it was well past their bedtime. But my husband said that the manager came and handled it. We will see what our credit card says. I’m so sad it was such a horrible experience."

Just walked out of here without being acknowledged or served at their rooftop bar (at 1:30 Monday afternoon. I had planned to sit at the bar and grab lunch and a beer- something I’ve done a few times before, likely won’t again. My disappointment is that the two ladies behind the bar weren’t busy, just standing there talking not about work but personal stuff- watched me sit at their bar and proceeded to ignore me. I was one of two people at the bar top. No greeting. No welcome. After a couple of minutes of them continuing to ignore me while they kept chatting I got up and left. They kept talking while they watched me leave. Hilarious. I walked over to the Red Rocks Beer Garden and had lunch a...

"I wasn't so pleasantly surprised by a restaurant in a while! I was in the area to help a friend and we all decided to go for dinner later. I found this place on a Google search and it was only 8 minutes away, so we all agreed to give him a shot. On arrival it seemed, as I expected, that it... a modest mountain location, nothing flashy or especially eye on the outside. I thought that was just a nice little standard restaurant embedded in the hills. When I entered, I was amazed how luxurious and uplifted this place was. When we sat, our whole group said, ok wow this place is actually very nice. The staff was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable when it comes to the menu and the specials for the day. The service was some of the best I recently experienced. The menu was not necessarily cheap, but everything was carefully thought out and reminded me of a 5-star dining experience that could be found in very high areas. We had several appetizers that were so delicious that I would have made them my whole meal. My personal favorite was the Flatbread with Pesto... Goodbye. Most of us ended up with chosing fish dishes or pasta and any dish that came like an absolute work of art and left me to feel like I wasn't in a small mountain town... but rather a luxurious and upscale almost vegas-style resort. Icing on the cake (literal) was the INCREDIBLE lemon cake we got for the desert. I turned to my friend and said I think this is the best lemon cake I've ever had in my life, just followed by her father who said the same, a few moments later. I'm still on this cake during the day. The overall service and experience in this place was so about what we originally expected, and I count the days until I can return and try the rest of the menu... absolutely perfect dinner."
