"We visit the area once a year and always have dinner at the Touchdown Club when we are there. It was originally recommended by the bartender at our hotel. Despite being located next to a bowling alley in a strip mall and not looking impressive from the outside, we were pleasantly surprised by the good food and service in the past. However, during our most recent visit this year, we were disappointed. The service was still very good, but the food was awful. The raw veggies provided at the table seemed to have been sitting out for a long time and were dried out and unappetizing. The salad was passable, but the greens appeared past their prime. The French onion soup was mainly cheese, which was odd. The prime rib was mostly fat, but the meat itself was well-cooked to order (medium rare). The chocolate cake for dessert was dry. Overall, our experience was disappointing and we will not be returning."

For those who love prime rib, this is the place to go on Fridays and Saturdays. The prime rib was amazing. We began our meal with fried calamari, which was excellent. Our server, Debbie (if my memory serves me correctly), was fantastic and very attentive, making our experience delightful. This used to be a private club, but not anymore. I am looking forward to many more delicious prime rib dinners with excellent service. Overall, this was a perfect dining experience, a real touchdown. 6 out of 6 points.
