"Amazing Overall Experience! The entire meal was an experience in complex textures, and flavors. It was such a pleasurable meal beginning with the excellent customer service and staff who had spot on recommendations and were incredibly knowledgeable andpassionate about the food to the atmosphere and ambiance of the location and subtle lighting. This place has so much to offereveryone, small plate options to give a taste of the expertly crafted cuisine to full entrees that leave you completely satiatedand satisfied. We sat at the bar and the bartenders blew us away with their knowledge and passion for the food, the drinkpairings and selections. There was no hesitation with their thoughts, you can tell they loved what they do and are thoughtfulabout it all. It was our anniversary and they brought us gelato which was better than I remembered having in Italy. I highlyrecommend Stella's. It was a top meal experience for us."

O M G! Everything I had was beyond amazing! The chef(s) know their stuff! The wait staff couldnât have been more knowledgeable, friendly, or attentive. Whenever Iâm in the TC area, I make it a point to dine here and you should too. I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant, their chef and their people.

This restaurant is an experience. The food was amazing, absolutely impeccable, the vibes were off. Entering this restaurant is like entering a simulation. The staff is very robotic which made for a very memorable experience. Would definitely recommend going. (The gelato is one scoop for $5, the wait staff was not programmed to know the answer to this question)

First time and great experience at Trattoria Stella. The quality of the service was exceptional and was a perfect compliment to the excellent menu and beverage selections. The setting and decor is worth a stop by itself as the restaurant is located in thebasement of one of the buildings of the Village at Grand Traverse complex with access to the many shops as well. We had one of our best dining experiences ever. Our server Skyler was exceptional, attentive and help us plan our dining experience with expert care. The foie gras special was the best we have ever had. I had a veal bone in chop with garlic risotto that was probably the best cut of meat I have ever had, my girlfriend had the scallops and they were exceptional as well. Met a couple leaving the restaurant at the same time and they raved about the food and service (they had our server). Highly recommend!!

We came for a week night dinner without a reservation and luckily got seated immediately. The place is dimly lit, creating such a romantic feel. We ordered the burrata and the red pizza. The restaurant offers complimentary bread to eat with balsamic vinegar and olive oil which didn't come out until after our food came. The pillowy bread would have been amazing if only it was served warm. Both the burrata and the red pizza were okay. We thought the portion was generous but the taste wasn't outstanding.
