"My husband, son and myself are currently touring Canada staying in 'Little Italy' area of Toronto, a great place to stay. After reading reviews on Trip Advisor, chose this restaurant. We had an excellent experience from the moment we stepped inside!The food and service was absolutely excellent, great choice of menu and we were made to feel welcome throughout our visit.. It was our son's birthday and we all felt we had had a real treat.'Thank you' to all the staff at Trattoria Taverniti for a super evening. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others."

A cozy Italian restaurant, full of locals (never a bad sign). The Calabrese pizza is excellent, as are the pasta dishes. Services is friendly, we managed to get a table without a reservation. Definitely worth a visit.

My Italian family and I settled on this spot for dinner and we are SO thankful we did!! Seriously the food tastes just as the food in Italy did and it is fantastic. The pasta is all homemade and tasted incredible. Highly recommend!! (I had the butternut squash ravioli)

Visited Toronto in July of 2017. Wanted to have Italian food for dinner, so made our way to Little Italy. Called Trattoria Taverniti and made reservations for dinner that evening. I would highly suggest calling (416-537-0078) for reservations as this place is not very big, but the food was amazing. View menu

In a moment of withdrawal from pizza, I took refuge in this pizzeria, where the environment immediately seemed very familiar to me, not only for the presence of Italians, but precisely for the polite and welcoming attitude of everything. staff. The pizza was great, so much so that I went back the next day in the company of other people.
