"We dined on a Sunday afternoon not overly busy at 1:00. My two dining companions had not previously been to Union Street. I had, but always dining outside. This was a first experience dining inside. The server Kristen T was excellent highly responsive but not hovering; just right ! The food was excellent, as well Backyard Burger, Farro Harvest Bowl and Classic Caesar Salad. The price was perhaps a smidge high, but given the current economy and inflated prices at many restaurants, it was both expected and reasonable. I had previously enjoyed my dining experiences and look forward to returning, as do, I am happy to say, my other dining companions!"

A bit loud but fun. Good band. Nice area to dance. Wasn't too crowded but would be better if band could tone down a bit. I needed my ear plugs.

Patio experience was mediocre (this was in October, perhaps it’s better in Summer? . Food was average. Service was very slow in the patio. And we didn’t care for the mouse that was running around on the deck, not a pleasant sight while trying to eat! View menu

rührei on two plates were served cold, and above all the restaurant was already made from signature/steppbe beignets on the early and relatiw empty side of Sunday brunch (we had a seat of 12:15 clock and the place was perhaps 25% full) ... how can that be?

overall union street is good. excellent GF options, which is why we chose it here. the prizes are high for what they get. we sat in the ground floor room, decor is a bit standard pub type and service was a little slow down there. the loudspeaker was very loud. there were no complaints.

"I haven't been here in several years and this place has changed the menu since then. They used to serve crepes, but it seems like that is no longer on the menu. I miss the crepes they used to serve, but this place still seems like an excellent local coffee shop with sandwiches.Service: I was greeted promptly as soon as I walked in even though the worker was busy making a drink. They take your name when you order at the counter in the middle of the cafe, and they call out your name when your individual items are ready to pick up from the counter. They do not serve dine-in orders within 30 minutes of closing. There are tables on either end of the cafe, but not much, so don't expect a seat during peak times.Coffee: Served as is, the hot latte was foamy and velvety without any bitterness. Even though my order was to go, I was surprised to still see latte art when I took the lid off.Food: I ordered the Otom sandwich, which includes egg, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato spicy aioli, on your choice of bread. I chose to have on an everything bagel, which had a perfectly substantial amount of chewiness. The egg was overcooked and dry, but the rest of the ingredients, like the tomato and the aioli, covered up the dryness. The spicy aioli is mild but does add a nice small kick to the flavors. It is a fairly greasy and messy sandwich thanks to the bacon and aioli, so be sure to have a couple of napkins on hand. Overall, it was delicious."
