Great service, tons of delicious food for the price, great coffee. Everything was 5 stars!

Maybe it was a rough night, but WOW! The food was awful! We appreciated the excellent service, but even that could hide the poor quality of the food. If you want decent dining, head to East Burke, or Junipers.

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner, with my kids. The cook made my steak tips perfectly!! The waitress was absolutely wonderful! She was patient with my inquisitive children and my flirty son! The view beyond their happy faces wasn't bad either!! View menu

On our way back from Canada on July 22nd 2014 we decided to grab a quick bite to eat. We found this little gem via our iPhone and were not disappointed. I ordered the Cheeseburger club and poutine. Both were delicious. What impressed us even more than the great food was the amazing wait staff. I can't say enough about how attentive, happy, smiling, courteous and pleasant. I was so impressed with them that I requested to speak with the owner so I could commend him on his staff.

Large portions. Poor quality food. My husband and I ordered the steak and seafood special. The steak was not edible. Could barely cut it. Extremely chewy. My children ordered the clam strips. Not sure what they were. My sons chicken strip dinner was chewy as well. The bread at the salad bar was stale. Onion rings were very good and the haddock was good but greasy. Very good wait staff. Minimal food was consumed and everyone had an upset stomach into the night and the following day. I would not recommend. Patty A.

During our recent visit to St.Johnsbury, we decided to try this place. It looks attractive from the outside, does need some paint on inside. Has a nice deck but no outside seating offered. Dinners came fairly quick! Inexpensive wine and beer offerings. Garden salad sort of blah, blue cheese dressing not so blue cheese, some wilted greens. Fried chicken was delicious, moist with a crispy coating. Awesome! BBQ ribs were the same...large portion, took them home! Really affordable! Bacon cheese burger had great crispy bacon! My husband and I were starving and looking for a cool local atmosphere spot to grab a bite and a drink. Let 's start by saying the service SUCKS! The bartender girl was completely rude, every time I asked a question she either gave me an attitude or completely ignored me. Some people just don 't belong working with customers and I guess she 's one of them. Second the food was not good at all ... everything was definitely frozen microwaved food. Stayed across the street at the Lynburke Motel and we visited this local favorite twice. Inexpensive beer and family-friendly fare explain the constantly full parking lot. Omelets were large and pretty good. They also offer tater tots and biscuits as subs for homefries and toast. The biscuit should be avoided but the tater tots could not be more perfect. The veggie omelet was fine- not horrible, not amazing (the size was generous) but way better than the multi-day old muffins offered by our motel. Service was very good and fast.
