"I'm really picky about Asian cuisine. I believe it can range on a spectrum from really sorry, to crisp fresh high end boujee, and then the Americanized fried, saucy delicious stuff. Yoi Yoi is like High end crisp fresh meets saucy delicious. The menu definitely gives off the crisp boujee vibe but the flavors, particularly in the hibachi sauces, sushi, the lobster Rangoon etc really give comfort food. Plus we ate off of our food for 2-4 meals so we got our money's worth for $100 for about 9 things. The Mushroom soup was a common side and was better than the entree Shrimp egg noodle soup which my partner said had less flavor. The hibachi was good, my scallops were cooked just right. But I want to try it with fried rice next time rather than steamed rice. It was just a matter of having the steamed rice soak up all the juice from the proteins and veggies plus sauces. It was still delicious that way but I wanted to use my sauces to compliment the flavors and not just drown my rice. The little side salad from my hibachi was a simple iceburg lettuce and carrot blend with 3 sauces in it. I underestimated it, but I had it for lunch the next day and it was pleasant and hit the spot. Felt like justice to get full off of a side from last night's dinner."
