"I spend a lot of time at a lot of coffee shops. Flying Squirrel has not only a cute atmosphere and friendly employees, but the BEST coffee I have had in the Fort Worth area. (I don't go to Dallas so who knows about them. I was so impressed with the quality of the roast and the bright, fruity flavor of their Costa Rican coffee, I was moved to write this review. Staff was helpful, even giving us a great lunch recommendation for a joint across the street that had excellent street tacos. I don't live in Mansfield but I will definitely make the drive to come here again. Seriously I mean it when I say this is the best coffee I've had in the area. Worth the trip, no question."

"I’m usually a boring chain-pizza-type-of-eater but I have now been exposed to awesomeness! My go to is Maria’s BBQ Chicken pizza which never disappoints. There was a time I decided to try a regular Pepperoni with Jalapeños and my order was made incorrectly (Olives placed on pizza instead of Jalapeños). After huffing and puffing once or twice because I was hungry and couldn’t eat my purchase, I called the store and the correction was made and delivered instantly. Life’s not that serious. Most people just want honesty and great service, which you provided in acknowledging the mistake and correcting it. THANK YOU!"

"I ordered oyster nachos, a crab cake, and the bacon-wrapped shrimp and scallop entree. The oyster nachos are to die for. They were perfect and delicious. The combination of flavors was wonderful. The crab cake was disappointing. The flavor was less than exciting, but it was still decent. The shrimp and scallop entree was awful. The flavor of the scallops wasn't quite right and I'm not sure if it was because of the seasoning or being seared just a little too long. The broccoli was undercooked and the bacon wrapped shrimp tasted really weird. It was almost as if the shrimp was bad before it was cooked. The consistency of my mashed potatoes was perfect though. I will give them another try though even if it is just for the oyster nachos and the terrific service. Our server was very attentive even though we sat out on the patio, alone, late in the evening. She was very pleasant and efficient. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. Parking: Parking is available in the parking lot right next to the restaurant. There is an adequate number of parking spaces available. "I usually do not leave reviews because my Mama taught me if you don't have anything nice to say don't say nothin. My Husband and I tried this place for the first time tonight he got the 2 meat plate with Mac n cheese, and potato salad, I got the chopped bbq sandwich plate with pintos, and french fries. Everything tasted very good I just was not fond of the bread as it tended to be dry. But boy oh boy those pintos, french fries, pecan pie, and banana pudding, ham, and Mac n cheese were the absolute best!"
