"Got the chef tasting menu, fish was good quality, but unfortunately there was too many pieces that had truffle or truffle oil and caviar, which overpowered all the fish flavors. A bit of a shame because I could tell that the rice was seasoned well, and the fish and scallops tasted fresh and were good cuts, but the truffle was too repetitive and overpowering, theres other ingredients you can use to really play with the flavors and palates of the guests to keep it interesting and still enjoyable. We had excellent service, and all the food was very good. It was pretty loud and there, very echoey so it was hard to hear. If I had to put a negative, I would say that is smelt just a little funny when we walked in. It might have just been all the fresh fish. One of our favorite date night spots and favorite sushi spot in the area. Sushi is fresh and there are a variety of rolls each unique. The tuna tartar is a great appetizer. Would highly recommend: wagyu bao buns, yume roll, salmon lover roll, and dream roll! Service is also excellent. Very artfully and well thought out sushi dishes with some really nice unusual combinations, and some very high-end items. Cocktail menu is great. I appreciate our server because she had a very strong working knowledge of the menu and had really good things to offer, which I have found otherwise to be lacking sometimes at a specialized restaurant such as this, I appreciated the sushi type recommendations, they were all some the best that I’ve experienced. Outside was beautiful and quiet, and overall we just had a very nice experience. Will definitely go again.
