"I didn't have a great experience at this restaurant. While I appreciated the rustic decor and relaxed vibe of the bar, I felt the drinks were overly elaborate and didn't really fit the overall ambiance. The place has a lot of potential, but the staff's attire was confusing; it's hard to tell if they want to present a fine dining experience with wine service or if they're going for a casual sports bar look with Nike shorts and t-shirts. Just my thoughts. The bartender's approach also felt very scripted—I think I heard the question, "Do you have any allergies or dietary restrictions I should know about?" at least 20 times. Overall, I'd rate it as follows: Food: 4, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 4."

the ambiente was great! I loved the service and the drinks were amazing! we came for brotpudding, but they were outside so we had to get a brownie and was pleasantly surprised!

I absolutely adore this place! It's a hidden gem in the neighborhood, full of charming character. It's definitely worth a visit. The catfish plate is fantastic, the cheese grits are amazing, and the bread pudding is to die for. Treat yourself to the full experience!

beautiful atmosphere soft enough to be sensual with enough light for a business meeting. the cocktails are kreatiw and bold and skillfully mixed. I had the crust and Pimento cheeseries and the only thing that was bigger than the taste was the part. would definitely recommend!

We needed somewhere for dinner that was open after 10PM in the Overton Park area. Found second Line by searching restaurants near by. What a great surprise. Renovated Old house, lots of charm with very high end bar service at reasonable prices. New Orleans cuisine well prepared with great service. We will be back. View menu

I had the catfish, and it was delicious, perfectly breaded. There were two nice fillets, and the tartar sauce was fantastic, just to my liking. The side of spinach Madeleine was good, though it was a bit too runny for my taste. However, the horseradish potato salad was outstanding—just a warning, though! When they say horseradish, they really mean it! But I personally thought it was great. The hush puppies were also excellent!
