"First-time post-covid. I'm not sure if I can still rank it as my favorite Indian restaurant. The food was good, but the service was lacking. What's good food without a great atmosphere, service, and ambiance? I need the whole experience! It took 40 mins to get our food, we had to send a dish back, whereas the non-melinated couple that came in after us ordered, got their food, ate, paid, and left before we even got the bill. Our server seemed irritated and aggravated with our table and acted as if we were an inconvenience when we asked for anything. Contrasted with the other table; he was all smiles and was very attentive. He made sure that they didn't need or wanted for anything. He constantly checked on them for satisfaction, but with our table, he seemed to skip over us, didn't check on us, and we had to track him down when we needed something. If he happened to be passing by when we asked for something, he would respond as he was walking away with his back towards us. There was a clear and definitive difference in attitude when he dealt with us. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt by saying he was an older gentleman and a one-man show. He was the hostess and server, and he also handled the take-out orders when there were two younger gentlemen sitting near the bar, not helping (maybe they were on break"

One of the very few AUTHENTIC Indian restaurants in the city. The garlic naan and kebabs were spot-on! Highly recommended for a wholesome Indian lunch dinner.

Easily the best Indian restaurant in a 100 mile radius! The tandoori platter is unbelievable full of salmon, chicken, lamb, and shrimp. I’ve recommended this restaurant to all my friends and family and they’ve all had great experiences!

I had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant. The food was terrible, and I would rate it just 1 star. I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone. They overcooked the chicken kebab, and I ordered chicken curry with bone but received boneless chicken curry instead, which was overly spicy.

My family has been coming to this restaurant for couple of times and it’s a rare find to eat real Indian food. This is one of the best restaurant in the whole Virginia, DC Maryland area. The non veg specially mutton and chicken curries were so good. Veg jalfrezi and dal tadka is awesome! Naan and paratha both are soft and very tasty. The owners make you feel like home. View menu

Good Indian food in the middle of downtown Baltimore. Got the Dahl Special and the Aloo Paratha. The Paratha was slightly overdone but the Dahl was perfect. Service was very attentive, with water refills appearing within seconds of my glass reaching halfway mark. Very friendly owner. The place did have a bit of a small though. I would return and try more of their dishes.

I’m really disappointed. I ordered takeout from here twice in the past six months and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, tonight's lamb dish and the vegetable korma were quite underwhelming. The vegetable korma was advertised as a fresh vegetable mix, but it definitely wasn't fresh at all. The lamb was tender and decent, but the sauce lacked flavor. To top it off, the garlic naan was burnt and mostly inedible. What happened to this place that I once found delightful?

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
