"We had a delightful dinner to celebrate my brother's birthday last night, and we were truly impressed. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a heavenly aroma in the air. The calamari was cooked to perfection, and the Minestrone Soup was incredibly flavorful. Three people at our table ordered the Seafood Special, and I was amazed by the generous amounts of shrimp and crab; I've never seen such a large serving! The cream sauce was delicious without being too heavy. My grandmother repeatedly praised her chicken for how tasty it was. While, as another reviewer mentioned, the Lasagna portion size isn’t as large as at some other restaurants, I’ve always found those portions to be excessive for lasagna. The Lobster Ravioli was tasty but quite rich—definitely not something you could eat more than a quarter of. The Italian Cream Cake they brought out for the birthday celebration was a generous size for sharing. The service was impeccable, and the owner even brought the chef out to meet us after we expressed our enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

I was quite impressed with the food, everything from the salad to the pasta and pizza was delicious. The place was also packed this evening and the restaurant was understaffed, and yet the workers were able to handle it fantastically. My server thisevening was very friendly and did her job very well. I will definitely be coming back and asking for her again.

This is our neighborhood italian place. Ambience is always cozy and service is good. It is not high end italian food, but good enough for the non-italian palate (if you've never been to Italy). Food is a little too greasy, salads are decent and the breadis yummy. A good place to satisfy a quick pasta crave in an above average environment. 4 star for ambience.

My family has been going to Alfonso's for years. Just recently we went and they had one waitress taking care of the entire restaurant. And it was a busy night too. She was trying her best but we and the whole restaurant waited for our stuff for awhile. I also ordered the pasta pomaoro and it had no meat in it.... so I got a massive bowl of noodles in a VERY light sauce. Icame home and ate.

My family has been dining at Alfonso's for years, but our recent visit was quite disappointing. On a busy night, there was only one waitress handling the entire restaurant. While she was doing her best, we, along with the rest of the patrons, had to wait quite a while for everything. I ordered the pasta pomodoro, which turned out to have no meat in it at all. Instead, I received a huge bowl of noodles with a very light sauce. I ended up going home and eating afterwards. View menu

This classic and cozy Italian restaurant has been a staple in Dallas for over 20 years. My partner and I have been regulars for years, and the owner and staff have consistently been warm and welcoming. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are outstanding for the price—many Italian restaurants in Dallas charge double for half the amount. I highly recommend trying their Detroit-style pizza and eggplant Parmesan. The wine list is impressive and offers a variety of options, making it easy to find the perfect pairing for any meal.

A classic and cozy Italian restaurant that has been with Dallas for over 20 years. My partner and I have been coming here for years and the owner and the staff have always been extremely kind and welcoming. The food is scrumptious and has excellentportions for the price. You would pay twice as much for half the portions here at most Italian restaurants in Dallas. I wouldhighly recommend their Detroit style pizza and their eggplant parmesian. Their wine list is lovely with a diversity in choicesso you can make a beautiful pairing with any dish.

"I visited today Botolino Gelateria Artigianale in Dallas, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience! Since they opened their first shop in 2015, I’ve heard so many great things about this gelateria, but nothing prepared me for the delightful treat that awaited me. After trying their gelato, I was so impressed that I even did my own research to understand the magic behind the flavors I was tasting. The moment I walked in, I could see why Botolino has become a favorite among locals. The gelato is crafted using traditional Italian methods, which gives it a creamy, rich texture that is simply divine. It’s no wonder they’ve won awards like “Best Gelato in Dallas” and have been recognized in various culinary competitions for their innovative flavors. The variety at Botolino is impressive. I tried the rich Pistachio, mascarpone with figs and the decadent Stracciatella. Each flavor was bursting with authentic taste, and I could truly appreciate the quality of the ingredients used. It was like taking a little trip to Italy with every bite! What really stood out to me was the friendly staff, who were eager to share their passion for gelato. They offered me samples and helped guide my choices, making the experience even more enjoyable. In short, my visit to Botolino Gelateria Artigianale was nothing short of amazing. If you’re in Dallas and looking for high-quality gelato, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t be disappointed—I know I’ll be back for more soon!"
