"There is food cooked from a recipe. It can be good, but it's never more than filling. There is food cooked because the chef loves to cook. It can be great, even memorable. Then there is food cooked because the chef loves diners to enjoy eating. At this level, dishes can be transforming. You leave a different person than you arrived. Amuse is the latter. I'll never think of curry carrot soup the same way again. I intend to go again and again until either I've learned all I can about eating or I don't fit through the door. Worth coming to southern Oregon for. Service was impeccable. Overheard conversations were amusingly Ashlandish. Architecture inviting and homey without being overly familiar."

We had dinner at Amuse this past weekend and it was wonderful. Great atmosphere, attentive, yet unobtrusive staff, and wonderful food. Really enjoyed the warm Kale salad. Any chance you would share the dressing recipe? I look forward to our next visit!

I've eaten at this restaurant several times over the years. The food is consistently delicious, the service consistently terrific, and the wine list consistently great (with very reasonable prices). Amuse is one of those places that make Ashland the special town it is. It has urban sophistication with inviting small town ambience. Highly recommended. View menu

The food here was amazing and they didn't disappoint. I started with carrot leek soup and it was so yummy.. they make a good soup here.. My hubby and I had the truffle game hen. Crispy skin and the meat was juicy. Not to mention the truffle flavor was so good! I also ordered a French non-alcoholic cider that was very good. For dessert we had the fuji apple crepes with whipped marscapone. A not so sweet dessert that was just right!The service was great. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They even selected a wine pairing for our friends dessert. They were spot on.I would highly recommend this place. So good!
