"As many reviewers have mentioned, this restaurant has a lot of potential, but it didn't quite deliver in practice. First off, I found the fisherman's platter to be overly salty, and that’s coming from someone who generally enjoys well-seasoned food. Additionally, the seafood didn’t seem fresh; the smell was quite off-putting and lingered in my car for days after my visit. I also wasn’t impressed with the fries, as they tasted as though they had been refried multiple times. On a positive note, I believe the concepts behind this establishment are promising. If they could reduce the saltiness and improve the fries, they could really reach new heights!"

The owners are very nice, and the food is excellent, especially the fresh lobster. I really love seafood!

Got food poisoning from this place. Was in the hospital for two days. Never eating here again and don’t recommend. Good taste like rubber

The food and drinks here were quite disappointing; everything tasted stale and lacked freshness. The excessive breading on the dishes was off-putting, and the mango smoothie was sour and unpleasant. I really wish I could return this food, but I’ve made up my mind to never come back here again. View menu

I ordered a sandwich. The sandwich, taste like the fish been sitting for a while. They don’t take time to follow directions. I said NO MAYO and they put Mayo on there. I also found a hard shell piece from a lobster in my sandwich. Not worth the price. THIS WILL BE MY LAST TIME ORDERING FROM THEM. ????

I placed an order over the phone and was informed it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived 20 minutes later, there was no one at the register. I waited for about 5 minutes until the cook informed me that the cashier had left and wouldn't be back for another 20 minutes. I decided to leave and went to Pat's Pizza instead. This experience was very unprofessional, and I won't be returning. View menu

After reading some of the recent reviews, I was hesitant to give this place a try for the first time. However, since I was in the area and there weren't many other options available, I decided to go ahead. The haddock sandwich I ordered was decent, but I wasn't entirely convinced it was actually haddock. I then ordered a whole porgy, but it wasn't fried thoroughly! It had a smell that was anything but fresh. There were hints of ammonia that made me gag a little. I had to really hold back my reaction.

I ordered the lobster roll and clam chowder. The lobster roll clearly had been microwaved too much; instead of just warming it up, it cooked the lobster to the point where it turned into tough, rubbery chunks. It was disappointing—lobster rolls aren't cheap, so this felt like a lazy ripoff. As for the clam chowder, it lacked any clam flavor and barely had any clams in it; it mostly tasted like flour. Overall, nothing was enjoyable, and the meal was a complete failure. I would recommend avoiding this place.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
