"Tried calling to ask for delivery today at 6:30pm today. The girl kept hanging up on us and not speaking in complete sentences (being short . I thought it was my reception so called off a phone with different service assuming her “customer service” was because she couldn’t hear me asking questions and talking to her and she said “I already told you this” started rambling off numbers and hung up again. Definitely don’t recommend going to this place if this is how you’ll be treated!! There’s a lovely place down the road that gave us amazing pie’s :"

"I ended up ordering the half rack of ribs with a quarter chicken and a side of pig wings, but unfortunately, they had just run out. Instead, I opted for a side of chicken wings. We wanted something spicy, and the waiter recommended the bourbon hot sauce, which was delicious. Although I'm not usually a fan of chicken, the wings were decent. However, the true star of the meal for me was the half rack of ribs! The meat just melted off the bone, and the flavors were incredible! We also ordered the jalapeño pepperdew mac and cheese along with a corn bean salad as sides. Each order came with cornbread, making for a fantastic meal overall! The table featured squeeze bottles filled with various sauces to try, and my favorite was the original hot sauce, which really added flavor to the chicken! Our dog was pampered too, receiving a lovely bowl of ice water and a special treat. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!"

"The service was outstanding, but the food left much to be desired. I ordered the veal, and it turned out to be rubbery and overcooked. Apart from the Caesar salad, which was delightful, the rest of the dishes we tried were just mediocre. Based on what I've read in other reviews, it appears that they often overcook their meat, and unfortunately, that was our experience as well. The Caesar salad was definitely a highlight, but ultimately, I didn't go there just for that."

"Save yourself the trip. I was just in the finger lakes with 8 of my closest friends for a 30th birthday party. Our last night we decided to book this cruise as a final upscale evening. I will say the only part we enjoyed was being on a boat together and taking sunset pictures. The music was good, the musician did a decent job of trying to get the audience excited. And the captain wasnice. The food however, I caution anyone with tastebuds. Our waitress was so sweet and professional but the courses took forEVER between plates. And when the main course finally arrived; it was the toughest worst prime Rib I’ve ever eaten. I didn’t even want prime rib but I went against my instinct. My Medium steak was almost well done And the scallops were absolutely foul. They were soaked in some kind of mushroom broth which I’ve literally never heard of, and I couldn’t even take more than one bite they were so gross. All 10 people in our group said they were very disappointed in their food choices. If you do decide to go on this cruise, save yourself the disappointment and get the chicken Parmesan."

"For Gilmore Girls fans, walking into Glen Mountain Market Deli feels like stepping into a Stars Hollow coffee shop. It's a charming place full of locals. It has with friendly, attentive staff and lots of locally made goods such as cards, food, and bath and body items for sale. Of course the most important part is the food. This was the perfect place to grab some hearty sandwiches and pastries before a long drive home. While there aren't many vegan breakfast options, there are about 4 vegan sandwiches and they aren't all veggie wraps. I got the VTLS which is a basically a BLT with seitan bacon. It was fantastic! See attached photo. My husband got Jackson's Revenge which has a homemade tofu burger. This sandwich was underwhelming and had way too much mustard. I would not order it again. The pastry counter had TWO trays of vegan goodies! We only got a cherry turnover but regretted not getting more. Don't make the same mistake we did! Overall, Glen Mountain is a lovely little coffee shop with a good number satisfying vegan options that are both sweet and savory. If we ever find ourselves in Watkins Glen again, we will certainly be back!"
