"I have never had soul food this bad. First time customer and got the pulled pork with mashed potatoes and candied yams. I was craving baked mac n cheese and decided to stop here only for them to say that they?re out of mac n cheese. The pulled pork was sour and the bbq sauce on it was very watered down. Not to mention that it was quite a wait for the food only for it to be luke warm and sour. The mashed potatoes came in a container and was very cold. It was as if it was leftovers they had in a refrigerator the whole day and decided to take it out for my order without warming it up. The only thing that was acceptable was the candied yams."

I really enjoy visiting Bobby's BBQ in Freeport. It's a family-owned and Black-owned business. They offer a $5 lunch special until 3 PM, which includes one meat and one side. They also make smoothies and sell alkaline water.

I dined there for the first time on Wednesday night and was very pleased with the experience. The fish and shrimp were cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese was excellent, complementing both the fish and shrimp beautifully. You won't be disappointed if you give them a try!

Great place to get southern cuisine. It was a Friday, got fish dinner. They were out of Mac and cheese The fish while fried perfectly, just wasn?t seasoned. Something about the filet made me know it was frozen fish. The string beans were ok but again not seasoned. I?ve been one other time as more satisfied

First off fries are stale, flavorless, not even a pinch of salt. Seems like you getthese at the grocery store from the frozen aisle. The fish was just laughable. No flavor, not crispy and definitely not fresh.How does a ?soul food? spot mess up sweet yams. Avoid this place, you?d be happier with a bagel and cream cheese. Avoid thisplace.
