"I'm not sure who the older gentleman was, but he seemed somewhat rude as he hurried my fiancée and me during our first visit to the restaurant. We were trying to decide what to order, and he was rather brusque in his responses. Despite the abundance of vegetarian options on the menu, the service was not very pleasant. We visited around 2:30 pm and it was just him and another worker. The service was not fast or friendly as we had hoped for."

The sandwiches and sides at this restaurant are always fantastic, but they could use a bit more speck. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Overall, it's much better than eating at Subway. The bread is especially delicious.

I really enjoy visiting this restaurant. I hadn't been there in a while because I was trying to eat healthier, but today I treated myself to something I love - Hometown Heroes. There was a new employee working the front and she was doing a fantastic job, even with the owner watching her closely. The food was also amazing.

I rushed in, and the owner stopped what he was doing with another customer just to help me, and that was very nice, I was only buying an energy drink, and did not realize it was a $5 min, that was very nice of them too, to let me go. Based on the appropriate attitude given by the clerk, I would love to come back and try the delicious smelling breads, and sandwiches. This seems like an awesome local sandwich shop.
