"We visited this restaurant with a group of friends (we were a group of six people). We were seated promptly. The decor and interior design had a contemporary rustic feel to it, and the crowd seemed to be enjoying the food and conversation. The service was very down to earth in fact, maybe a tad too much...The server was jovial but slightly unhinged, he did not have much to say to describe the dishes, and removed glasses without asking if done. We did appreciate some of his casual banter, to distract us from how long the food was taking to arrive...although we had shared a bread plate not exactly substantial we asked from some more after 45 minutes had passed. The host who had been helping out advised us that the food would be right out, and no bread was needed. Pre empting a request for bread is a little out of tune to me especially when the food took yet another 20 minutes to arrive. The food, once delivered, was nothing to write home about. The seasoning and preparation were neither interesting nor did they remind of old world home cooking."

The menu may be limited, but it offers a nice variety of options. I ordered the steak, and it was cooked to perfection. The chocolate pot with ice cream was also fantastic.

This was the second time we've been to Birch and they did not disappoint. The food and service was outstanding! They are getting ready to change over the menu, so we will definitely be back to try out the new offerings.

Decided to try out Birch last Friday night and was not disappointed. Great service, great food, wine and atmosphere. My chicken was cooked perfectly and the stuffed mushrooms were fantastic. Highly recommend giving them a try!

excellent dinner on Saturday night. noise level was good, especially because we dined early...6:00pm a little expensive, but eating was very good. had to ask for brot and butter and glad that we did as it was warm and easy added to the meal experience View menu

The look of the place is good when you enter. The wait staff is attentive, but I just didn't feel a warm welcome. My daughter's salad had some sort of paper mixed in with it and the dressing was awful. The waiter offered to replace it, but didn't offer to comp it. Overall, a slight disappointment.

I had an excellent dinner on a Saturday evening. The noise level was just right, especially since we ate early at 6:00 PM. The prices were a bit on the high side, but the meal was truly delicious. We had to request bread and butter, but I'm glad we did; it arrived warm and really enhanced the overall dining experience.

The main meal was great but overly priced and the service was extremely slow. Took an hour to get our food. Also, the restaurant ran out of bread by 8 on a Saturday night. We tried the bread pudding with berries for dessert but it was completely dry and hardly had any berries in it. Disappointed because we were really excited to have a farm to table restaurant pretty close to us but the restaurant failed to deliver. We may try it for lunch or brunch and hopefully have a better experience. View menu

A friend and I dined at Birch recently for the first time. We were pleased with the experience. The food was good (pasta with chicken and pulled chicken sandwich). The menu is not large but is varied to appeal to a variety of tastes. We arrived for an early dinner and were initially the only ones but several tables were in use by the time we left. Service was good, maybe even a bit too attentive. Serving staff was friendly and eager and readily answered our questions. I will return and recommend Birch to others.

I had a reservation for brunch at 11:30, but the place was already busy with diners by 11:00. The manager and waiter kept telling us that the food is made to order, which is why it took so long for our meals to arrive. I'm not sure what was leftover if that's the case. The food was decent, but it definitely wasn't worth the hour-long wait. The table behind us left after waiting just as long without receiving their food. The whole experience felt very disorganized. We might give this place another shot, but if it gets too crowded with more than 4 or 5 tables, we'll probably look for another option.

"My wife and I had been trying to go to dinner here for about a year but kept having to cancel plans or couldn't get a reservation when we were available. Finally went this past weekend and we were not disappointed. The outside of the building is beautiful but doesn't do justice to the inside. That ambiance is comfortable, warm, and inviting. It is rustic but clean and modern at the same time. As a side note, even tho the music outside was loud and crazy, you cannot hear it at all when inside the building. The food was just delicious and totally worth the expense. We were both very happy with our meals and the entire experience. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options but just ask the server to be very clear.Dietary restrictions: The menu appears to be pretty diverse and has lots of options. This is not a gluten-free establishment though, but if you call ahead and request special accommodations they may help you out.Parking: They do have valet parking, but if you don't want to deal with that there is plenty of parking. However when Farm Brew is busy there is likely not going to be enough spaces in the actual parking lot, but there is overflow parking galore. You just might have to walk a little farther than you want.Kid-friendliness: There were a few kids at this place but it's not really meant for kids. It's a fancy restaurant so keep that in mind. Kids can be accommodated but there isn't a kids menu and they won't appreciate the quality of the food anyway so get a babysitter and leave them at home!Wheelchair accessibility: The main entrance is on the first floor with a flat entrance area that can easily accommodate wheelchairs. Additionally there is an elevator inside so getting to the second floor for seating is not going to be an issue."
