"I used to work next door and there was always a line that wrapped around the block so when there wasn't a line today I decided to try it myself. I didn't realize I was tipping $5 to wait on myself and bus my own table. I also thought they had many soupoptions and only had 2. The bacon in the BLT was rock hard with no way to order it differently. The chicken in the friedchicken sandwich had been prep cooked and then re heated, and was dried out. The sugar in the BBQ sauce overpowered the wholething. For getting there right at noon it felt like all our food had been sitting made for hours. I understand why there is nolonger a line around the block."

No vegan option. I had one of their 2 veggie sandwiches without the cheese, but still had a stomach ache after eating it. Perhaps they are grilling the bread with butter. Guy at the counter was nice. View menu

Fantastic location, but it's disappointing they don’t offer gluten-free bread. Seriously, consider adding it; I’m sure it would attract more customers. Dietary restriction note: there are no gluten-free options available for sandwiches, which is quite frustrating.

I would love to give the store a 5 stars, but the lack warm welcome and cold stare with no acknowledgement when entering is a big no for me. The staff customer facing should be more inviting especially if we're paying $25 for a salad.. train staff to be more pleasant.

The sandwiches are fantastic, but they come at a high price. It's definitely a good idea to place your order ahead of time on their website, as the wait can be quite lengthy during busy times. I was just enjoying my time in Corte Madera, minding my own business when the Hansen twins, Sally and Sue, decided to throw some rocks at me. They were never very good at throwing, but Sally's got quite the arm! Thankfully, her aim was off. I told them that if they behaved, I'd treat them to lunch at the Blue Barn Restaurant, and that was all it took. The lunch turned out to be amazing—five stars all the way!

None of the glam descriptions and photos honestly describe how AWFUL our salads were. I ordered the Fattoush and my friend the Tostada. We essentially got the same bowl of limp lettuce meagerly garnished mine with about 4 garbanzo beans, a tsp of macerated nicoise olives, and a few minuscule pieces of pita chips. The Tostada was even more laughable some thinly shaved jicama, a tbl of corn, and meager shavings of tortilla chips. What's happened? I haven't been in a couple of years, but I remember yummy, generous salads. This experience put us both off Blue Barn forever. Badly done!!!
