"I ordered the Pasta Special of the Day, which was walnut pesto pasta with grilled chicken, as well as the Soup and Sandwich Special, featuring a bacon and multi-cheese sandwich accompanied by a cup of tomato soup. Both the pasta and soup were quite flavorful, but the soup arrived cold, and the pasta was served without the promised Parmesan cheese on top. The waiter didn't seem particularly bothered by these issues. As for the sandwich, it was rather uninspiring on its own, but it tasted better when dipped into the soup. Overall, the price was reasonable for lunch in Gramercy, and there were plenty of options on the menu and specials."

My friend lives nearby, and Bluebell is a go-to spot for breakfast. They don't accept reservations, so we arrived bright and early...

Best breakfast in our trip to NYC. Fast, friendly service. Very reasonable prices a relief from the hotel restaurant. Wish we found this spot earlier in our trip!

Last week, I decided to try the potato leek soup and a BLT at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the soup was disappointing as it lacked flavor, and I could barely taste anything. View menu

The scrambled eggs were the best I've ever had. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic too. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. Additionally, the service and atmosphere were both excellent!

The food is very affordable and the portions are great. The brunch food tastes pretty much like breakfast food. The staff are good and helpful. The atmosphere is lovely! Will definitely recommend this for a simple brunch date.

Stopped for breakfast while in town. The class has a quaint ambience. The coffee was better than average. We had avocado toast and eggs Benedict both of which were excellent. We highly recommend stopping if you are in the area. View menu

Great meal. Had French Onion soup and Curried Chicken salad sandi. Delish. Wife had Beef Short Ribs. Very tender and tasty. House Rose´ wine was quite good. Server was very courteous, but could have used some help. Not too noisy and there were table separates. Will definitely go again.

The prices are average for New York City, and the portion sizes are typical for the area. I tried one of the burgers along with fries for brunch. The burger was tasty, but the fries could have benefited from a bit more salt or seasoning. Overall, it’s a relaxed cafe with a nice brunch vibe.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
