"in the past, brasserie had to eat when we traveled to dc. our meal this week was a great disappointment. it began spectacularly with the foie gras appetizer, but went down from there. the moule fries with curry sauce were served in a flat cast iron ballet and quickly became cold. the reisnudels in the sauce did not make sense with the court. the sauce was tasty, but the cook on the mush was unconsistent some were well cooked, others overcooked. that was terrible. a disc defrost was well cooked, the other was raw. the skin was floating and the fat had not been made from it. it came cold and the whole plate was uninspiring and dry no soned, dry slices of purple sweet potato with grilled swashing discs. the kale chips were the best part of the dish, although the powder stuffing? she had no taste. we will not visit brasserie beck again!"

Excellent food and service. They could not find my reservation, but since they had a table available they seated us right away.

My date just kept saying “oh wow” with every course. Server was attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. One of the best restaurant experiences in recent memory

Good menu and drink list. We ordered mussels and steak frites for our entrees, which were great, though the foie gras appetizer left a little to be desired. Good food, but maybe a little overpriced. View menu

Food quality very good, mussels great, sides excellent, nice wine list and good beers. Value not bad. Menu selection rather limited but that seems to be the trend. Service a bit overbearing, seemed like whenever our server got bored (which was every few minutes) he would approach the table whether we needed help or not

I took my husband to Brasserie Beck for his birthday, and we absolutely loved it. The selection of gourmet and Belgian beers was impressive—I'd say the beer list was almost as extensive as the wine list. We started with a tomato and goat cheese appetizer, which we shared. For my main course, I had mussels in white wine sauce, while my husband enjoyed grilled trout. For dessert, we indulged in the Belgian Waffle of the Day, topped with beer-marinated cherries and chocolate. It was rich and delicious. We will definitely be returning to this new gem!
