"I've been here lots of times and I didn't think it was possible for me to like it any more than I already did, but it turns out Bread Winners on a weekday morning is even more amazing than Bread Winners on a weekend morning. It was much quieter and calmer than I'd ever seen it before, and that was pleasantly surprising! I love their ever-changing menu of special lattes, special pancakes, etc. I really appreciate being able to order just one pancake. Because sometimes that's all you want to eat! Sitting out on the enclosed porch is nice in the wintertime because it's heated, and it's nice in the summertime because it's open and breezy. My kids love that they have wi-fi because it means they can play on their devices, and I love it too because it means my husband I or my friends I can hang out without the kids getting bored. On the weekends it's not uncommon to have to wait for a table if you get there at peak brunch time, but you can pass the time by strolling around that part of Olde Town until they text you that your table is really. This place is really a treasure in Olde Town. I love taking friends when they come visit from out of town. It's a great institution in Olde Town. I don't know what else to say about it! Parking: One handicap spot on the street by the front door, and a couple of handicap spots in the parking lot on the east side of the building Kid-friendliness: space for strollers, kid-friendly faves on the menu, not so quiet that a child can't be a bit noisy"

I visit this restaurant because I believe it offers the best breakfast in Arvada. JP is an exceptional waiter; he's incredibly patient and consistently busy, ensuring that everyone has exactly what they need.

The restaurant was more spacious than I thought it would be. It was very clean. The waiter JP was incredible. The food was the best breakfast I've ever had. The banana foster pancakes we're the best. I will definitely be going back! View menu

Still excellent, crispy Chile Rellenos are fantastic. Of course I still enjoy their Railway Mary. Great place for breakfast. The Railway Mary was fantastic as well as the Heuvos Ranchero. We will definitely be back to try more of their selections.

Edit: Waited about an hour for our food. Finally asked where it was. Was met with a woman who made excuses for our food taking so long. Saying we ordered several things that took longer. All the while we watched several people around us get the same thing we had. There were people that were seated after us eat and leave. Finally got our food and half of it was cold. That was my first time there and my last time. Service was terrible tall skinny guy needs to be trained.

"So I suppose it's up to the manager of a restaurant whether to replace a returned entree at no extra charge the customer for the uneaten food. Whatever the policy at Sakana (we didn't ask when we saw the item in question added to our bill, we didn't feel like getting into an argument), we still found the attitude of the server when my girlfriend didn't enjoy her spicy miso ramen to be unacceptable. Instead of simply offering a replacement when my girlfriend explained that she couldn't taste any miso in the broth, the lady server told us that the miso ramen tasted as intended and that adding more paste to the broth would make it too salty. It still didn't taste very good, but whatever. Fine. My gf orders the curry ramen instead. It's pretty decent, nothing to write home about. At the end of the meal, we get charged full price for the spicy miso even tho all she ate of it was the egg added at additional cost. Did not mention this before the bill came out. We probably would've moved on without complaint if we hadn't been talked down to when trying to replace the order or had the return policy more clearly explained to us. Will not be coming back due to this experience. I've been to better and more expensive restaurants that return and replace an entree, no questions asked, especially when -you didn't eat it-. I've had $50 steaks taken back without being charged, but you're gonna die on the hill of your watery $15 ramen? No thx. The food, for the most part, is okay. My tonkutsu ramen broth was acceptable, tho my pork was overcooked. My gf's replacement curry ramen was better than the spicy miso, but it was not great. It did have tasty fried chicken, but very few other ingredients besides noodles and spinach. She wasn't so into it. Where the cuisine shines is the sushi. The fish tastes like it's well sourced and is adequately competitive for the price range. We didn't love the ramen experience, but we were actually considering coming back just for the sushi before we saw that they'd charged us for the returned food. The shrimp shumai appetizer was tasty but a little skimpy on the portions, four tiny dumplings for $8 or $9. Ultimately, Sakana is worth going to if you just want sushi and don't mind a somewhat cramped and loud atmosphere during peak hours and a snooty attitude from the staff. I'd have added more stars if not for the service experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Nigiri"
