"I'm not sure how I haven't reviewed Brick and Flour, this is one of my favorite places to eat in North Hollywood. I always get 4 tacos. 1-2 of the house beef tacos because I love the sauce, carnitas, crispy chicken, and al pastor. My wife always gets a crispy chicken bowl. And we finish off with a side of beer battered fries and I ask for a few chipotle house sauce. I highly recommend this place, and I talk about it often when someone is looking for a recommendation. Is it Mexican? Maybe, it's not your normal Mexican restaurant and that's ok. The food is awesome and the atmosphere is very los Angeles. Again highly recommend the house beef tacos and the crispy chicken in whatever you want to put it in. Also the beer batter fries are a huge portion and delicious even after the long drive home."

The food here is really good and portion size is better than I originally thought it would be. Burritos are good, good size. The asada fries are good. Havent tried alot of the menu yet but soon will try more. Also Igave ordered from here at least more than 3 times.

So let me start by saying I used to love this place. The portions were great, the food was tasty, quick service all of that.But now, two times in a row, the food was awful. I ordered the House Special burrito, what I always order, and the meat was so insanely salty, and super tough and overcooked, it was inedible. The other ingredients in the burrito were skipped on, and the portion was smaller than before. I dont know if they hired a new cook, but fire them immediately.The staff and atmosphere is always great and that's the only reason it get 2 stars out of 5. But I won't be coming back here again.
