"First time eating here. Wanted to check it out as we heard good things about it. The food was good we ordered turkey club, the brunch burger, and a Joe's chicken deluxe crispy chicken sandwich. Have no complaints about the food all our meals came with fries and coleslaw. Service started out well. Waitress was very nice got our drink order, took our food order was friendly throughout. However after we received our food we didn't see our waitress again. My wife had to go up to the counter to get her own to go box and we had to go to the counter to get our check. Overall I would recommend checking it out"

"We stumbled onto this place on our third day in St Ignace and it was a real treat! The salads were a nice size with lots of chicken in the chicken salad and the prices were very reasonable. So yeah, it’s a pizza joint, but a good salad with 2 breadsticks for under $10 in a tourist destination is a steal. We ate out on the patio which has a decent view of the harbor as opposed to the pricier places across the street. The kicker was the Spi-rolls! They are supposed to be an appetizer but one order would have been more than enough for two people. If I was here with a family, I would want to know about this place! We were only a couple but enjoyed it so much that I wrote this review!!"

"If you're looking for excellent pasties, I highly recommend Bessie's Pasties. Whenever I take my family out, we always make a trip there. They offer a wide variety of food beyond just pasties, making it a perfect choice for us. Instead of settling for the disappointing $9.00 pasties you find downtown, trust me, you won't be disappointed by Bessie's!"

"As for the restaurant, the breakfast menu could use some improvement. My husband, who doesn't eat pork, still had to pay for it, and there were no options for eggs, potatoes, or toast unless we paid separately, which ended up being more expensive than simply ordering something with meat. We observed a booth behind us where the guests didn’t want their toast, but the waitress mentioned she would order it anyway for herself, which seemed a bit unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend the hashbrowns, as they were just rehydrated potatoes and didn't taste good. However, I must say they cooked my eggs over medium perfectly, and the pancakes were delicious—no syrup was needed!"

"My visit there was 8/20/2023. I had no idea the portions was HUGE. This place is absolutely the best after spending a day on Mackinac Island. I ordered the Salmon, lobster mac cheese, n a cranberry/oj drink and had water too. The lobster mac and cheese was huge portion for 1 person. I had to take home leftovers from the dinner. The service was good. The only issue I had is my salmon. It comes with some spicy sauce added on. I had asked they do not put it on there. Yet, it came out with it on. Be aware of the 4% transaction fee you 'll be charged for using your card and that can be expensive. My charge was 1.85 for that 4%. I work in the EFT (ie electronic fund transfer...another words...payments) industry. With inflation and all....4% for a transaction fee i think is a bit much. I know there 's a fee per transaction that Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover charge, but it 's not 4%. There are additional charges that the fee is for and the merchant should for non-transparency identify the REAL charges for the fee is. Because of the wording on the receipt non cash adjustment to someone who doesn 't know EFT world would have no idea what that means. It references the 4% customer service charge. Furthermore, calling it that is to me thinking it 's more of a tipping charge. Again, bad customer presentation.
