"This place serves favorite Sicilian dishes and they don?t disappoint. This place had an outdoor dining set up even before the pandemic. We came here for early dinner and were conveniently seated outdoors. The menu is one page and very easy tounderstand. Upon seating, our server gave us homemade bread and olive oil while we dawdled on the menu. We started with abottle of Italian Pinot Grigio and a plateful of calamari fritti, we always order calamari wherever we can. Their calamari wasfreshly made and delicious it's pretty competitive. For the main entree, we decided to share 12 inches of Diavola pizza;mozzarella fior de latte, tomato sauce and spicy salame and pappardelle ala Bolognese; fresh homemade pappardelle withtraditional Italian beef ragu. The portion is perfect for sharing, the pizza almost took over our table with its size. We thenshared tiramisu served in a jar, we thought that was cute and also delicious. We left the place fully satisfied. We enjoyedevery dish that we ordered, we love the fastness of the service we don?t feel that we are being rushed. Awesome customerservice, good value. This place is a must-try!"

Amazing carbonara! Exactly the way I wanted. The ambience was also very pleasing and it made for a great dinner with my friend

Great food but operating at capacity with a full dining room and the sidewalk and street seating. Didn’t seem to be staffed for the number of diners

The restaurant was packed despite NYC CoVID policies. The energy was high and the place was understaffed for the fullness. We had a hard time ordering, but the food was good and tasted fresh View menu

we were a party of nine sitting next to a loud big party so it was loud overall. the service was ok, a bit stiff. one of our teams had his main court much later than others. the main server was not very happy to serve us, but he was still good.

This is a great spot with pleasant service and very, very good food. It's Italian with a Sicilian focus. The Pizzas are excellent, the pastas too. Right now they have a lot of outside tables set up but the whole front wall of the restaurant opens so it is good for indoor dining as well View menu

I LIVE for that unlimited free bread you get at Italian restaurants ???? Seafood tagliatelle nice and fresh though I'm not cultured enough to appreciate pasta that isn't super ultra soft pro max. Prosciutto mozzarella arugula pizza was kinda like asalad on pizza but it was not bad. BUT THAT FREE BREAD THOUGH!! IT COMES WITH SUN DRIED TOMATO-OLIVE OIL DIP ????

we have 7 people reserved. they tried to sit on a table for 6 and to frame in an already cramped place in and extra chair. more reviews can be found here. they overlay the space to an extreme. the service was terrible. children never got their drinks, we felt rushed to order dinner and got a scary one without anyone asking if we wanted dessert or something else. eating was at best mediocre. when the check came, he automatically included a tipp for 20, % though they never poured our wee or even did something, beyond our order and bring our food. the manager was very rude and not helpful at all. when I told him he didn't work. he said it's that or out. when we were out, he wanted to give us th...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
