Delicious crepes and bakery items! The service was excellent and scene is very aesthetically pleasing. Definitely recommend the savory crepes and macaroons.

Best banana pudding I ever tried. Have been late to events and engagements because of their banana pudding. My daughter had flourless gluten free chocolate cake. They also have other great desserts. The staff is wonderful and helpful. Also Organic coffee they serve is wonderful.

I just had my first visit, and it exceeded my expectations! This place is truly exceptional. The customer service is great, the owner is very friendly, and the chef is knowledgeable. The Mojito Lime cake is delicious—it's fresh and has a nice tangy aftertaste. I absolutely love it! Highly recommended!

Wow! We were incredibly hungry since we skipped breakfast, so we indulged a bit... The croissant sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the brioche sandwich was just as good. The crepes were delightful, and the Turkish delights were to die for. The old-fashioned almond croissant was simply outstanding. This place truly deserves its five-star reviews. The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch! I highly recommend it!!!

Best of the best place! Delicious sweets/foods. Deserves more than 5 stars for sure. Service was very fast and caring.I tried almost everything there in this 2 months And here are my Favorites : Delicious Spinach Artichoke and of course Old Fashion Almond Croissant.They were both wonderful in taste and yummy. A gem found in the Ridgewood Town center close to the train station- very friendly owner and staff with absolutely delicious food/pastries! Everything is very fresh and the decor is exquisite. For savory items, the mushroom crepe is rich in flavor and so is the soufle. All of the bakery items are outstanding as well, we particularly loved the Napoleon cake. Have been here a few times already and always very pleased! Definitely recommend visiting for an all around wonderful experience :

Do yourself a favor and visit this place! I doubt you'll ever go back to any other bakery. Selection, service, space is just outstanding! And there's always something new to try, even though we come here almost every week. Did I mention souffles? Or olive/cheese pies? Get one with a pastry, and you'll have a breakfast will take you to the dinner. Or this could be your dinner. But on top of all that it's the space itself! It's airy and roomy! You can always find a table for for four or even more and still carry a private conversation. Not needing to look for an empty chair before you even look at the selection or having strangers sitting on top of you? Priceless!

Cafe de Royal is a wonderful addition to the Ridgewood dining scene and more than just a bakery. They serve beautiful and delicious pastries, homemade soups, and delightful souffles, crepes (both sweet and savory), and sandwiches with Turkish, Greek and French influences. Savories such as the Greek spinach triangles and sweets such as the old fashioned almond croissant are consistently delicious. If you are looking for lighter fare, the soups are also great, especially the lentil soup. Oh, and I did I mention they have several different varieties of baklava?!
